    James I have a Nikkormat FTn and FT3. Both work fine but the meter was jumping around on the Ft3 the other day. I changed the battery hoping that was the cause.

    I’ve been doing some soul searching and needed an answer. Digital is a bottomless pit for me. I am never satisfied with what I have. Film gives me more pleasure by far so I decided to concentrate on 35mm film. One problem is a lot of my old cameras have issues but today I pulled the trigger on an excellent condition Nikon F3 from a reputable used dealer. I plan on making it my main camera using just one or two lenses. Pictures when I get it.

    This creek which in most places is about waist deep turns into a monster with a healthy thunderstorm or two. You would not want to be standing where I took this picture when it happens. iPhone 14 Pro Max.

    I was the only one out in the local park (Austin TX area) with temps below 20F and breezy. Pretty cold for around here. No snow though. All photos taken with the Minolta XD5 and the 45 F2, Film was Arista EDU 100 developed in Bellini B&W RDL at a more concentrated 1-25.

    Temp finally went above freezing. Backyard leaves with vintage D200 and AF 60 micro. Semi sharp shot between breezes.

    I’ll post it here as maybe a few will have interest. I just ordered a film from Freestyle called Arista Pan 100. Not a EDU film and is made in Germany $6.99 per 36x roll. Not sure who the actual manufacturer is but I’m sure that will speculated on soon.
