hashim a 0 Posted June 21, 2004 The variations of yellow and orange are wonderful. I like how the young man, and the (again) orange sheet -- breaks the horizontals and verticals -- all very interesting to look at. The exposure works extremely well for the situation. Agreed with the comment by Loft above. Link to comment

ideamanchuck 0 Posted June 22, 2004 One of the best photos I've seen in a long time. Composition and choice of moment to capture are fantastic. Well done! Link to comment
raywei 0 Posted June 24, 2004 I am so amazed by this photo, so I did a histogram analysis on this. It came out near perfect. That, in part, explains why this photo is so attractive to viewers. Congrats again. Link to comment
randalldouglas 0 Posted June 24, 2004 I like how the garment echoes the rectangular colored wood shapes and how it's implied that the subject spread the garment out along those lines. The opposing rectangles in the wood above provide stability. The fact that it's a monk also makes it interesting -- to a non-monk. Link to comment

schneekranich 0 Posted July 7, 2004 most has been said above, I agree fully. I also like the "pose", the monk looks like a dancer Link to comment
