Fantastic idea; very "refreshing" to see something new. Colors and contrast are beautiful. I admire your courage for risking having the melted ice getting that close to your lens.

Antonio, I believe you have done a wonderful job of capturing this scene. I'm going to have to respectfully disagree with Morgan on the compositional choice you've made here and the reasons are as follows: Placement of the ealge gives a sense of movement, hence dynamic energy is created. I also think if you were to move the eagle, meaning you would have to crop, you lose some of that snow that is flying up into the air. And in my opinion that's an important part of this shot. Some of the largest chunks of snow are very near the left edge and losing that would be missed in this image as the flying snow also helps add a sense of action to this image. Great job capturing this. Also, the AF module on the 20D must be very good to catch this kind of action. I've thought about buying that camera but always wondered about its AF capabilities. I believe this helps to answer some of my questions.

Very nice image. The only thing I think should be changed is the upper right hand corner where it is blue. Clone that to be like the darker area just to the left instead of the blue. My eye is constantly being drawn toward it. It's really an eye grabbing image and I really like it. Nice work.

I agree with Armindo both times, like a painting! Nice!

The body lingo of these two cardinals are summed up nicely in your title as well. Great shot!

On the road my buddy lives on lives a guy who has this interesting flag pole in his front
yard. I've passed by it dozens of times and today I finally stopped and asked if I could take
some shots of it. Poor guy, wasn't even out of bed yet...but in my defense it was 11:30
am... All comments welcome and thank you for looking.

As others have mentioned, the compositions is very nice. But I also like the low contrast lighting; it adds a softness and tenderness to the scene. Nice job!

Fabulous use of color and kudos on the detail (rather than silhouette) of the bike rider. I'm sure some serious ps work went into this and it has paid off very well! This is an excellent image that I'm sure any photographer would be rather proud of.

As you requested I viewed the large image and I was not the least bit disappointed by what I saw. Tack sharp eyes!!! Nicely composed with a non-distracting background. Very well done!

I like the minimalist look to this photo. Tonal gradations and contrast are very pleasing to view. Simply elegant!

The only manip I did was change the color of the flag in the upper right of the image. I did this to counter balance the red in the lower left.

I saw this bright and colorful mall alongside the highway one day and knew I would have
to return with my camera to see if there were any shots to be had. This was one of my
favorites. All comments welcome and appreciated.

I would agree with Scott on the issues of lighting and shadows and believe that it would improve the scene to those with a highly discriminating eye. Having said that though, I think it is a fantastic image that is VERY well done. So dynamic is this image that in my opinion, those issues of the light and sun behind the subject are mere nit picks. There are always very good images put on this site every single day from some wonderfully talented photographers, but it has been a little while since something has been posted on here that really knocked my socks off, and this one did just that. I really love this image and admire your efforts here.
