Just curious as to what the reaction to the photo might have been had there been no explanation what so ever of what was taking place in tit. This is a striking photo and grabbed my attention right away. Great capture. I can also see this image as a very eerie one, where all the adults have there heads down, as if there was severe danger on the horizon, yet the lone child is ignoring that danger.

Kai, I don't think it would be too distracting to have "more obvious" distinctions between the poses. I think it would "read" more like a slow moving film. Try it and see what you think. I think the first pose should be a "non tired" one to emphasize the transformation. Just a thought, lots of luck. Todd

I was waiting to see if someone would ask if this was digitally enhanced in any way, and then Carl did. So I will say that the sky at the top was added (the original was grey and flat) also I applied the clouds to the wall as well. The wall was that deep blue color but I superimposed another cloud picture I had taken over it and then applied a PS filter to make it look more "painted". I just liked the way it came out and wanted to see if my handy work was obvious to anyone. So there ya go. Do you think knowing this information diminishes the photograph now? WOuld be curious to hear what you think. Thanks for looking.

Is there only 2 stages to exhaustion? I like the idea but I only see 2 poses. Maybe I just don't get it?

I love the simple composition and the way you took a slice of the "bigger" picture. Great composition and use of color. 6/6 from me.
