Stages of Exhaustion (Left to Right)

k_a_i

Series of shots, no adjustments of any kind, including color or lighting, only cropped and added sections from other frames. Purposefully placed from Left to Right to defy Western convention of "reading" things. :)

I decided to create this as a tribute to the "tired-ness" that

everyone on this planet has increasingly been experienced. Sometimes

I wish we were healthier in our competetiveness. :)

subtle details in the first 3 frames, ending with a more obvious one. but you have a point though, possible obvious differences within each frame could make it more interesting, but then again could it become distracting against the last frame (of the left)? :)

Kai, I don't think it would be too distracting to have "more obvious" distinctions between the poses. I think it would "read" more like a slow moving film. Try it and see what you think. I think the first pose should be a "non tired" one to emphasize the transformation. Just a thought, lots of luck. Todd

That's interesting. I believe you can play with clone and patch tool to make a single, omogeneous floor. Or just crop it.

perhaps.. but then it would be unnatural photo manipulation rather than just plain cropping. ;) good idea though.

Hello Kai:

A fitting and well executed tribute to chronic fatigue. Think I would have been tempted to boost the curve levels a couple of clicks, but the darkness clearly supports your theme. A terrific composite -- and thanks for the visit to my portfolio. --Jim
