1. I have noticed many outlets having low or no stock on this scanner. One computer outlet lists it as discontinued. Epson's website still shows it as current. Anyone know the status on this unit? Is it going to go bye bye soon or was that one store incorrect? Pricing on this thing has crept up in Canada the last 2 years. One site shows it at $1550 Canadian, which is way more then Epson lists it for.
 2. I rarely use this site today and only occasionally peak to see whats posted. I got an email stating I have to be upgraded to a premium membership and start getting charged $30 a year. It seemed to not give you a choice in the matter. How do I opt out of this or cancel my membership? I'm not paying money for a website I rarely use today.
 3. Word has it they originally said Fall 2017 for the film to come back out, but there was word that it - it may be delayed due to problems to work around. Anyone have any official news on this film or confirmation of my comments? I was told there would be Super 8, possibly 16mm, and 35mm still film for this film to be produced in.
 4. http://i1159.photobucket.com/albums/p626/braxus351/PanX_zpsfbis4kry.jpg With Kodak reintroducing Ektachrome late this year, they made mention of other films that could return. I wouldn't be surprised if Plus X would be one of them. That said I wonder if Kodak would consider bringing back Panatomic X? Anyone here want this film to return?
 5.
I currently have a Pentax 645N camera that uses the autofocus version (FA) of its 75mm normal lens. Would I benefit in anyway to getting an adapter and mounting a Hasselblad 80mm Planar lens to this camera? Either for portraits or even cropped landscapes.

 6.
I was going to order one of these soon from either of two Canadian outlets. Yet both are out of stock and have been on backorder for some time now. Is there a supply issue with these or is it that maybe Epson has discontinued this scanner do to low sales?

 7.
I have a Graflex 4x5 camera with the Graflok back on it. What is the procedure in using a roll film back used with the 4x5 attachment? I'm thinking a RH8 for example. Camera is a Speed Graphic.

How does one frame and focus when using these backs? And do you have to remove the back for every time you set up a shot? And what about the ground glass on the 4x5 camera? Does that have to be removed too?

 8.
I wanted a more traditional view camera and this was a logical step up, since it is also a Graflex. That said someone said the lens boards aren't the same between the older View Graphic and my Speed Graphic. Yet looking at the picture, it seems to be using the Speed Graphic board. So maybe the View Graphic has the adapter mounted on it for the Speed Graphic boards?
Also my back on the Speed Graphic is a bit loose, so it needs work to tighten. After the comments I've had here and elsewhere, I may just keep my Speed Graphic and use both cameras.

 9.
What are the general differences in using a Graflex Graphic View 4x5 camera, vs a Speed Graphic 4x5? Only thing I can see if the Graphic view is a traditional view camera with tilt and shift, and has the longer bellows extension. And that camera will use the same lens boards the Speed Graphic uses. I just BIN'd a Graphic View camera, so I will be selling off my Speed Graphic.

Any ideas of what a Speed Graphic is worth, with the Graflex 135mm lens? I'm keeping the Ektar lens currently on my Speed Graphic and will be swapping on the 135mm.

 10.
What would one do with a 480 MP image? Seriously do we need it that big, other then for military uses? And as mentioned what program would open such a huge file?

 11.
I have no inclination to take still photos of my film negs/slides. Its not a perfect process and getting focus dead on is way more unlikely then a scanner would be. And light has to be perfect on top of that. Nope not going that way.
So basically I have no hope of getting an 8000 scanner working on a newer system? I'm not talking drivers, but to get the thing to even talk to the computer. Is the 9000 any better?

 12.
So since my computer is only 6 months old running Windows 10, its not likely my computer will see the 8000 scanner at all? Is it connected via firewire to USB? There is an old inf file fix for this scanner, but if I can't get it to connect- well?

 13.
I actually have the 4x5 transparency light for the 2400. Its what I've been using since. Ok. Sounds like the 800 is a good buy. On my list. All I need to figure out is using the Nikon 8000 on current computers.

 14.
I currently use a Minolta Scan Dual 4 for 35mm and an Epson Perfection 2400 for 120 and 4x5 film. Will I gain anything by upgrading my Epson 2400 to the Epson V800 for my 4x5 films? Also the Nikon 8000 seems to be the best way at the moment to scan 120 film it seems, and can also do 35mm. What scanner drivers are people using with their 8000 on current Windows systems like Windows 10 64 bit? I read about the new Plustek 120 scanner and it seems to be no better then using a Flatbed. Any comments?

 15.
Because the 500mm didn't fully cover 4x5, I found a 400mm Congo from the same manufacturer on Ebay for a little more money. It claims to have coverage for 5x7, so that lens should be okay. I BIN'd it. So now I have 2 lenses coming for my 4x5 camera.

 16.
I didn't realize there were different versions of the Speed Graphic. I have no idea what I have honestly. Maybe these pictures will help?

 17.
I BIN'd the Fuji, since it seemed to have good lens coatings on it. I don't want to get too close with this lens, just enough for portraits and cropped landscapes.

Also would a Yamasaki tele Congo 500mm f/9.5 lens work on my Graflex?

 18.
I'm wondering which lens would be the best to go with on my 4x5 Graflex camera? What I see on Ebay are some Schneider-Kreuznach Symmar 210mm f/5.6, a Rodenstock Sironar 210mm f/5.6, and a Fujinon 210mm f/5.6. Many have the Copal shutter. I'm looking for a lens that is good for both portraits and also landscape crops for closer view shot like tulips closer up, etc. I want a sharp lens and with good contrast in the $200 range. Must fully cover 4x5 film. Any suggestions? Many are in the same price range, so its hard to choose.

Also is there such a thing as an inexpensive 600mm lens for 4x5?

 19.
I work at a photolab and I wouldn't trust Walmart for anything to them of my own work. The company is in cost cutting mode and its not the company it used to be. Avoid.

 20.
I had the Asahi Pentax 6x7 with mirror lockup and now currently have the P67II. Prices are so much cheaper on the older bodies and you don't really gain a whole lot going 67II. Matter of fact repair companies won't really touch the 67II because its all electronic and they won't repair it because of no parts available for it. Yet the older cameras are more mechanical and more easily repaired. I say save your money and get the older model with mirror lockup. Then get the shutter speeds tested and your off and running. All I really gained with the 67II was a timer and a better meter. That's it. My 67II is draining batteries too, so its more problem prone.

 21.
I had my Super 8 scanned at the same company this video above was done at, yet mine was done at 5K instead of 2K. Yet mine never looked this detailed or sharp. I'll have to try another roll with a different camera to see if that helps.

 22.
Its dated 01/2009 and it says E51, so I guess its Efke 25. Darn. I was hoping for some NP15. I already have lots of rolls of Efke 25.

 23.
I picked up 3 old rolls of this film. It has an expiry date of 2009. Is this version 1 or 2 of this film, meaning the original Orwo NP15 based film or the Efke 25 based film?

 24.
This is the second time this has happened. My Pentax 67II camera is draining the 123 batteries down to zip in a matter of months, and this is it being turned off the whole time. Is this normal for this camera, or do I have a technical problem with the camera causing this? I would think with the switch in off position, and the LCD not on, there should be no drain. Yet I'm going through batteries in this thing like crazy, and the camera is hardly used. My older Pentax 67 from the old design, never had this issue of course. Any ideas?

 25.
I heard rumours Nikon was working on a 54 megapixel SLR using a Sony sensor. Yet Sony just announced a 42 MP camera in the A7RII. So I'm wondering if a 54 megapixel sensor is actually in the works? That said when do you think Nikon will counter Canon's 5DsR camera to reclaim its claim to highest megapixel DSLR?
