The bond is wonderfully captured!

I'm always conflicted when I see these kinds of scenes, in person or in pictures. This man has had choices, and he's obviously made some bad ones. But life can be hard, and in some ways we are all frail. I haven't walked in his shoes. I know nothing of what got him here.
A powerful, thought provoking photo, well taken.

I find myself wondering if you've had any ugly or threatening confrontations while doing street photography. I would imagine the security concerns in Israel would make street work potentially riskier than in some other places. I was once stopped and quizzed by a police officer in a Florida town while taking photos of their downtown Easter festivities. I'm not a confrontational person, and it was very upsetting.

Yes, the mother appears cautious and reticent, while the daughter is open and receptive.Maybe there is hope in that. Very nicely captured.

She's so young. It breaks your heart.

I have come back to this several times, and each time I'm drawn in. The light, of course, makes it. But also there is the open space ahead of her, in the run and in life. And there is her look of serene determination. It's a very good picture.

Real, natural, and beautiful.

Thank you. It was just a matter of being in the right place at the right time.

Thanks. Yeah, I considered that. This just seemed to work better for me. I wanted to get the barn higher in the scene. But I'll be happy with this.

Thanks. I never really figured out what was going on here with him. There is a lot of acting and role playing at a Renaissance festival, but this didn't seem to fit.

Thank you.

That may be, but it doesn't bother me. It's a powerful, emotive image.

Nice tones and composition here. Masterfully done.

Marvelous light and atmosphere. Nicely done.

He sat this way for a while. I don't think he even noticed me.
