This is only my impression, but the closest elbow seems to be poking the viewer in the face. I think I would have it farther back.

She's a lovely woman, and nicely captured.

I think there needs to be a color correction on her skin. It has the green cast from the surrounding.

    Lovely young lady.

Can they actually walk in those shoes? Maybe that isn't the purpose.

I see handcuffs. Is someone being arrested? -)

    An interesting shot.

  1. I'm always conflicted when I see these kinds of scenes, in person or in pictures. This man has had choices, and he's obviously made some bad ones. But life can be hard, and in some ways we are all frail. I haven't walked in his shoes. I know nothing of what got him here.

A powerful, thought provoking photo, well taken.

  2. I find myself wondering if you've had any ugly or threatening confrontations while doing street photography. I would imagine the security concerns in Israel would make street work potentially riskier than in some other places. I was once stopped and quizzed by a police officer in a Florida town while taking photos of their downtown Easter festivities. I'm not a confrontational person, and it was very upsetting.

Thanks. I never really figured out what was going on here with him. There is a lot of acting and role playing at a Renaissance festival, but this didn't seem to fit.
