I love your use of light. Gives a sense of mystery about the boy. Also absolute dead sharp image. I like it :D

I like the composition and the darkness on the background. For my taste the skin is a bit too softened, but the overall image quality is excellent.

Thanks all for your kind words and feedback:) This is the same picture twice, the one in the top left has been rotated to eliminate the head tilt and has been mirrored. The layer has also been set to a lower transparency 14%.

Jason- Nice use of light to capture an interesting expression. I like version 1 the best. The exposure is a little hot on his face, but it does not detract from the image. I find myself wondering if I would find it as interesting if the exposure was a little different. I really like the lighting contrast. The detail of the eye makes it for me, in combination with the expression. You have captured personality & that's what I think it's all about with kids :)

Jason, I prefer version 1. I think I'd like it even more without the ghost image in the background. I think just the single portrait placed as you have it makes for a dramatic and unique compostion. BTW, that's a handsom little guy you have there.
