1. Mount Olivet cemetery in San Rafael. EOS 7D, 16-35 2.8L, last week.
 2. I'll be majorly screwed up when I decide to replace my trusty old 7D classic. I've had it for 7.5 years and it works pretty well. Only 21,000 images thru it though. I wants stabilization and GPS and WiFi in my next body. I have all L lenses except for my awesome 85 mm 1.8.
 3. Sunrise this morning, through the medium-level amount of smoke from the Wine Country fires 12 miles north of here. Eos 7D, 85mm lens.
 4. Paraduxx winery wine making building ceiling last Friday, Napa Valley.
 5. Anvil Cloud, BOS to SFO the day before the Eclipse. EOS 7D, 16-35 mm.
 6. My niece, Kadyn, at her dance show in Wrenthem, Mass. EOS 7D, 85mm, ISO 3200, f/3.5
 7. Lens helps a lot (maybe half of the equation), but so does technique, aperture chosen, subject motion, shutter speed, ISO, etc etc.
 8. New UX (stinks -- where is the "POST" button? LOL), maybe same setting as above but insert image into the post? SUNRISE, EOS 10D, 24-85 lens.
 9. Sunrise at McInnis Park looking towards China Camp (from my archives).
 10. ((new UX screwing me over, lol))
 11. Right-click "Open in Camera Raw" all ya gotta do..... good luck!
 12.
I would only guess too that atmospheric and other external conditions make make the true FL of any lens ever so slightly variable.

 13.
A snowman near our neighborhood that my wife found...

 14.
part of my collection........

 15.
> How will noise be at low light and high ISO with all those pixels?

30 MP not that many for a full frame. My 7D is still great with low noise at 18MP and crop sensor -- I suspect the 5D MIV to be **MUCH better** than the old 7D's low light, high ISO capability.

 16.
Long exposure at Resort at Squaw Creek last week, Lake Tahoe area.

 17.

Wow -- too cool. Somewhere over the great Salt Desert. Wow.

 18.
Newly refurbished RR Tracks and Mt. Tam -- inverted and to B&W.

 19.
> why begin w/ "canonEOS"? Do you have other cameras? If not, why not just "photos" ...

Because I had several cameras and it worked for me then (and I want to preserve my backup/folders naming convention without renaming the root folder).
Past 10+ years, 95% of my photos are EOS anyway.

 20.
> Absurd is to go in pursuit of something you have no purpose for once you caught up with it.

LOL! Good one -- like a dog chasing a car.
