<p>"Analog Film is bound to disappear as everything else that is old"</p> <p>Disappearing yes, in the sense that film gets harder and harder to pricure every day as do local film processing shops, that's a fact.... and also, what, far more than 99% of still images today are digital; 15 years ago 90% were film; 20 years ago 100% of the photos were shot on film.</p> <p>Do the Math.</p>

<p>I am reading all of this (welcome back, selfie!) LOL with great interest.<br> Having my well-used 7D for over <strong>4.5 years</strong> now, no new EOS body had convinced me to upgrade yet. I've never had a DSLR last as long as this 7D without replacing it.<br> Crop or no crop -- I am holding out for that first great new deal. New Manfrotto tripod and ball-head being delivered today to replace the one I lost last year (no clue how it got lost, probably left it on the road and drove away)<br> Cheers to EOS forum!<br> -Ken</p>
