The show goes on until Wednesday. It is a fun setup on a nearby island near Portland, Maine. The small, two room, gallery has a new show every friday and the islanders have come to expect and gather every friday as they are arriving on the ferry from work. For the local feel I chose some of my street shots of Portland, Maine. There were eight of us represented and the space was just right for 2 large pieces on the wall.
I printed and framed the first two 13x19 prints and I included a portfolio folder of 11x8.5 prints with a stack of 6x4 postcard prints that also had my contact information(<img src=http://static.flickr.com/89/230270901_ae64d7338b_t.jpg>).

This is my first hanging so I'm a bit pumped about the whole experience. It's a lot of fun. It is also a great learning experience.

Thomas. I love all those icicles. Nicely framed.

I'm on the first base Frank.

When people spend a long time looking at your stuff, seek the gallery director to help locating you, come up you to shake your hand and then tell you why they love your work.
(Our photo group had an opening reception tonight .)

My color shot was Velvia so that took care of a lot but besides that no photoshop needed. One of the wildest sunsets I've ever seen after a fierce storm about 12000 feet high. I had a glacier next to me.

<i>Rene, we'll never forget the War. On your next trip to London turn on the tube and you'll see why. Its most definitely not forgotten over there. Walk around town and you'll see places still marked by the blasts. The Nazis gave the Brits a run for their money - they'll never forget as we won't al queda numbskulls.</i>

I just shot 9 rolls with M3 and Tri Elmar without an auxiliary viewfinder. I'll let you know how it went when I get the results. I'm too cheap to spend on a viewfinder. I find for 35 mm it was just looking outside the 50mm framelines and for 28mm ... Well
... It just a bit wider...

About a year ago I wanted to do a similar thing also using M-Audio product which recorded to a CF card. At that time the mp3's could not be edited for real time and date to match the digial file's time. I wanted to link 10 seconds before and 10 seconds after the shot was taken.
I was hoping I could walk around and shoot with the M-Audio turned on and later if I had a keeper shot, compile the two sources into one.
I wonder if there is an audio recorder now that could give you the software to achieve that.

Thanks. EST. I'm watching it now and recording it on DVR

Eliot don't elevate the conversation by taking my name out of context. I did not say anything about Jews or forgetting the holocaust. Let's just relax a little bit. Getting over WW2 I meant that everything has been said and established with respect to holocaust and OTHER stuff.
So what I mean by getting over WW2 I mean let's not try to revise history and claim something did not happen as well as let's not try to drag the same stories over and hopefuly not exagerate them.
I grew up under Russian occupation and we were served Russian war movies every other day. I've had my dose. Thank You very much.

Is Sundance on EST? or MST?

I wonder how long it will take for us to get over freakin' WW2

Thanks for the tip. The latest issue is bumping from room to room in my house but I haven't had the time to look yet. I'll make the time tonight.

Ouch. Thank God my nephew moved to Harlem we'll stay there when we visit NYC.
In the past I got $100 rates from the Lexington Hotel which was superb ad from the new yorker which was across the stret from Madison Square Garden.

I would let the photographs to speak for the camera above everything else written. There is no reason to discount dpreview writings. It might be useful but checking out the results from a few capable photographers is more important to me.

I also like the second one for it looks like it has been cut out of a sitcom. It has a TV feel to me.

Looks good. Small package. Beautiful camera. Too bad I won't be able to afford it in the raum of reasonable thinking.
There is however allways the option of going completely nuts...
