I changed my mind. I want one of everything.

Sir Edmund Hillary had the perfect answer.

I've been shooring since 1986 but up until about 6 years ago I had no concept about turning ca,era outside of my family and making photography my personal artistic hobby.
I would say that since 1986 I've averaged about 1 roll per month. Since 1999 I've averaged about 4 rolls per month plus digital shooting. But even with digital I just don't shoot many frames unless I can fully focus on the work - and that is hard for a father of 2. Yesterday I hiked through the city for 3 hours and only shot 8 frames from my tri-x.
If I go on a dedicated shooting trip then I easily average shoot 2 rolls per day.
I scan all the keepers and I'm happy with my electronic filing system but my physical filing is a disaster. None of my sheets are marked.

this might be a totally ignorant statement as I don't touch Vanity Fair with a ten foot pole but I find it kind of ironic - the contrast between Vanity and this article.
I suppose, kudo's to the magazine for publishing such work.

James Kim has one that's mind blowing or you could say profound ;-)

The M3 is ideal for the trip. No battery needed, small size. Fits perfectly into my sternum pack so that I reach in during my hike for shots without losing much stride or taking off my backpack. M8 would be interesting to take along just because [iNSERT SELFISH EXCUSE HERE] ;-)

Now that Ive used the 50 'Lux, I'd love to own the 35 A version. But this is priced at several month's mortgage payments, so it "ain't gonna happen".

you must have bought your house in the 80's ;-)

Can anyone beg Leica for me and tell them that on August 15, I'm going to hike
the Wyoming wilderness for straight 10 days and it would be the perfect PR to
test their M8. I'll even carry solar recharger with me. I'll do that for Leica.
Honest. ;-)

well I don't have the $$$ but let's play monopoly and put me in for new Lux ASPH in 50 and 35 and throw in M8 while you're at it.

We approached them with our flats boat and the guy standing said. Oh no, not another picture. I said I'm sorry I've got to. ;-). Both of us were smiling. The other guy said nothing the whole time. He must have been very unhappy camper.
The tides are large here in Maine. At high tide one can not see the breakwater rocks at all. They probably anchored there and fished and as the tide went they forgot and perhaps had trouble retrieving the anchor in time.

wow. What were your settings ? fstop/shutter/iso ?

These two guys got caught during outgoing tide. They will have to wait about 8
hours before the water starts coming back in. We gave them some water.
