Looks like my daughter's room, just before she moved out. Nice job.

Hi, Ken,
It's been a while. This is one of the better shots of the memorial that I have seen. Better than the ones I've taken so far. The light and shadows work well here. Hope all is well. Cheers.

Nice profile and angle. Good color. I like it.

Comments welcome, as always.

Thanks Fred and Lou Ann for dropping by. Always welcome.
Cheers

By the way, the 3/3 rating on this photo appeared long after the photo had disappeared from the Photo Critique Queue. Someone must have figured it deserved to be taken down a peg or two.

Thanks for the comments, folks.
David, I went easy on the contrast, and that's probably what you're seeing. I wouldn't want to go for any more saturation, because the hair gets more orange, the skin looks more reddish, and it doesn't look natural. This is the compromise that seemed to work best. I always have a tough time with skin tones, and for some reason what I see in my software is never how it looks on Pnet.
Cheers

Hi, Lou Ann,
Thanks for stopping by. The flesh tones and colors on this were pretty much just as they came out of the camera. I guess I was close enough so the lighting could appear natural. I still have trouble with flesh tones from digital stuff, and don't do a very good job of getting it right if I have to post-process it much.
Cheers

Hi, Pnina,
The younger one is certainly an instigator and gets great pleasure out of antagonizing the elder. They both have their moments. Thanks for stopping by.

There's a lot to see here with so little light, Pnina. A great shot with much information and interest.
Cheers.

Lou Ann - Well, she wasn't particularly pleased about having the picture taken, but her kids wanted a pic of her wearing the corsage they bought her for Mothers' Day, so she gave in.
Mel - I always have trouble with skin tones. Your first treatment looks too much like cut and paste to me, but your second one may look better than mine. And skin tones never look the same on Pn as in a print. Oh, well.
Thanks for stopping by.
Lou Ann - keep in touch and let me know when you'll be coming through this way.
Cheers.

Congratulations on your victory, Walter. Well-deserved.

I really like this one, Pnina. And I like the full-length one, too.
At least you don't have to worry about the model blinking when you take these, huh?
Nicely done,
Cheers.

I like this one, Mel. It does show character. I could go for it being just a little brighter in the eyes - maybe a catchlight, to give a little glint to it, but this is nice.
Cheers.

Hi, Lou Ann,
This is one of the few shots of this area that comes close to doing it justice. I was there and was never able to get something I was satisfied with.
Nice panorama, and very well done.
Cheers.

Very nicely done, Walter, as always. Lighting is very nice. Now if you could just climb up that little tree on the right and remove that offending branch that makes a loop through the top of the image - well, I guess that would be a bit tricky.
Great photo,
Cheers

Hi, Lou Ann,
No, it's not stored on my property, but I know where it is. I have a few more shots, but just chose this one to post. Maybe I can take another one, if the sun ever comes out here again.
