Nicely done. Overall, perhaps a little too much black - probably could be cropped a little from top and bottom. But the lighting is nice, and it looks very natural.

Biliana - not sure about the lack of sharpness in the eyes, except maybe because this originated as a digital file for print and I didn't want the eyes over-pixelated.

 

Pnina - He is a little over six months old. And he's a real chunk - weighs about 22 pounds. He's not fat, just solid. At least he's happy, well, most of the time :)

Not sure what you were trying to do with the shot, but there are a few options. You could have gotten closer to the trunk and placed the lower part of the trunk in the bottom left corner of the frame for a diagonal, for instance.

 

Hard to tell what you're going for. Maybe you could have removed those lower leaves so more would be in focus - or maybe that's not what you wanted.

We haven't gotten much actual damage in Central OK because all the stuff came down as solid pellets and then froze, so it didn't stick much to the power lines, etc. So we dodged the bullet on this one. But it's still below freezing and there's two inches of ice on the ground.

No doubt. We were there twice on Saturday in an ice storm, and once on Tuesday.

This was taken on Saturday. Everything got cancelled. She got out yesterday (Tuesday). And got safely back home. We're supposed to get three to six inches of snow this weekend. Whoopie.

Thanks for stopping by, Lou Ann. I guess the females of the species worry about losing their looks as they age. As for the guys, well, we're bums anyway, so there's not much that can be done for us, huh?
