  5. I just bought an used FA43 yesterday, (500 EUR in Finland) and here is a sample, I really like the bokeh it produces.

    made a bad job

This is an excellent minimalist photo.
  7. Beautiful! This would look good on a wall, as a big size poster.

    Summertime

Thanks Giangiorgio! I have sometimes thought, that I can't do any other kind of photos anymore, but I really like this kind of photos, it's always fascinating to see how different lenses and different f-stop settings create different backgrounds.

    Tulips

You have controlled the depth of field very well here. If there is something to critique, it's the "missing tulip" in the left corner, but I think it's not a big deal, because my eyes mostly explore the tulips in the foreground.
  13. This really stands out from the other photos...I would say this is quite spooky!
  14. Todd, it seems to be an excellent lens, I really like that out-of-focus area in the bottom right corner, where the glass and wine are rendered beautifully.
  15. Thanks Patrick, and thanks to those who clicked "admire", too.
  16. Beautiful color tones, the wine looks so delicious.
  17. Daniel, Mike, Vincent..Thank you! PS. Vincent, I have seen 135mm Pentacons sometimes for sale here, but they have been these "new" 6-bladed versions.
  18. Thanks! I haven't used Meyer lenses yet, but my friend bought Oreston 50mm f1.8 recently, so I should borrow that lens some day, to learn how Meyer optics render images. I did a small photo search and you are right, that Orestor produces really good looking bokeh.
  19. Additional information for this photo: sometimes you don't have to go far, to get some photos, this one is from our backyard. Behind the flower, there was a big rock, the light rays partially lighted the rock, and the old vintage lens and the close-up filter rendered it this way.
