Pentax K-5II, Porst 50mm f1.7. This old m42 screwmount lens seems to produce quite an original bokeh. I guess it may be too busy or restless for many people. -

I bought a bouquet of tulips for my wife, but soon I found myself taking photos of them. Tulips are in a vase, against a gray wall, natural lighting from a window. Pentax K-5II + FA 50mm f1.4 @f1.4 -
Pentax K-5II, Samyang 135mm f2, @ f4.5. I guess these zig zag patterns are made by small snails or bugs which move on the glass surface, they probably eat that green stuff while they move on the surface? -

Many years ago, with the original photo.net v1.0, I sometimes noticed, that a photo didn't show up in the top rated photos, although it had lots of comments or if it had been viewed many times. Back then, I noticed that if I changed the category, it might then show up in the top rated, so I thought there was some kind of bug, some of the categories were not able to show up in the top rated photos. I guess there might be similiar thing with the new version, too.

Ok, thanks for the additional information. I have the old A-50mm f1.7, too, it has a sticky aperture and it won't go further than f8, but I use it at f1.7 usually anyway to create nice bokeh effetcts. -
