    alicia, thanks for commenting. i didn't intend an objective statement -- and certainly not one so gruesome. we had simply been doing classic poses on the rock base and evolved to this. i tend to prefer classic nudes to be faceless. d.

    i really like it. since you asked for ideas, i'll give you my thoughts. as an "art" image -- one which allows manipulation -- i would lose the vertical pole in the center of the image so that the mountaintop becomes the center of focus. i might also bring some dark clouds into the valley area. but that's only if you want to mess with it. it works fine as is.

    the light, the tone, the setting are all really wonderful. i think everyone who's commented thus far has a composition issue. the really cool thing is that either the tall tree or the model seem to be controlling the clouds in the sky. the tree points and the clouds march; likewise, sarah opens her arms and the same happens. whether sarah and the big tree should separate, i cannot say. i think i would chop the two shorter tree tops off first and see what happens.
