I appreciate everyone's interest in my work. Even if you are unhappy with my results, it is an indication of where I stand in my progress. Thank you again. Regards.

This is indeed a masterpiece. It is like a fairyland. Where is this place? The sky is very dramatic. Bravo. Geo

My eye is driven from left lower corner to upper right one... the way I like to read an image. The roof doesn't bother me too much but, I would probably crop a little on the top to eliminate parte of the white on the clouds. Or, would clone some soft clouds on it.

I'd have to say that you did nicely with the "salvage job". Wonderful mood and serenity in this image. Lovely!

Fantastic mood ! With the original in mind, I think you did a great job. And I like your attitude to show us light and colours as you observed them at that moment. Interesting that you could do that from a single image. There seems to be more dynamic range in an analog-scan than in a digital RAW image because you made this from a single shot and not in composite technique. Regards, Carsten

Considering what photo you had as first you did a wonderful job. No it does not look natural, it looks surnatural and that is all the beauty of it. Who said photography should obey to strict physics law? Where personnal interpretation begins, art begins. I like it a lot.

Very dramatic shot! Your levels manipulation really changed this photo into something special and beautiful. I think though that it is confusing for the viewer to see a very bright water and a very dark sky. Nevertheless this is tremendously eye-catching. Regards, Alex

A full drama, excellent pic, I just do not know what to say, your photos are amazing.

The light is superb, how long time took it for you to take this pic? Did you wait for a miracle there, seems like is going to rain in anny moment.

Thanks Gustavo! The miracle was that it finally stopped raining that day, long enough for me to make this photograph, and then it started raining again. The window of oppotunity lasted about 30 minutes, if memory serves correctly. Regards.

a bit late in coming back to this one, but I would like to thank Biliana, Ellen, Spence, Maggy, and Jana for their kind words and visits. Regards.

Walter, I adore this shot! It is a heavenly, idilistic view of a humble little church looking almost as if God is reaching down to bless it. I dont really care what had to happen to get this image to this point (other than appreciation for the work that went into it) because the final product is worthwhile.

I realised what is so attractive to me about your landscapes. They are all intimate. There are some great photographers who take broad and sweeping shots where you can see forever into the horizon and feel a little dwarfed by the imensity of nature, but your landscapes make me feel as if I am in touch with the moment of time the shot was taken, standing there myself, as if I can reach right out and touch the leaves or walk into the shot. My aunts paintings were that way, I apreciate that ability you have to bring the intimate side of nature to the people who view these photos.

I hope I dont sound like I'm fawning ;) I just want to let you know how I appreciate your work, and hopefully encourage you to take more so I can see them ;p

all the best!
