Chris Autio
Fantastic! Really like this idea of reutilizing a camera like this for a mural print. And having the wit to slip inside camera the filtering.
Alan Marcus
A tip of the hat from Alan Marcus - Quite a miraculous accomplishment! A sidebar -- Kodak maintained a giant transparency display in Grand Central Station New York which ran from 1950 thru 1960. A giant backlit display called the Colorama. This transparency measured 18 feet high by 60 feet wide. The original was a color negative shot on a special camera. The image size was 8 inches high by 20 inches long. Over a 10 year period, 565 Colorama images were displayed.
Sandy Vongries
Remember them well, spectacular. Near or under the display was a little theater that ran current news on film. Imagine that!
Zootman
Impressive! I enjoyed some of your other shots as well. Thanks for the link. It is a great reminder that simple cameras can produce marvelous pictures when they are in the right hands!

glen_h
Yes, they use a 12mm by 36mm image on 35m film. I have thought about using a 24mm lens on an SLR, and getting panoramic prints from one, but never did it. 1 -- glen

The first 35mm Colorama was a Leica ca. 1978. 1950-08 Popular Photography Edited December 12, 2022 by JDMvW
