I guess its Thursday already in England though, so let's get this thing started. I've had a busy week, as I'm sure many of you have, and didn't find too many opportunities to shoot this week, but I did get a photo I like. Hopefully you got a few spare minutes to get in a shot this week, let's see what you got.</p> <p>I got a few minutes this past weekend to practice with an 85mm lens a friend is letting me borrow. It sure helps when you've got such a great subject. Here's another one of Ollie...</p><div></div>

woodbyte
<p>Sticking with the dog theme, this is Blackberry, our 8 month old female standard poodle, pictured this Saturday in our garden. After nearly 20 years of refusing, I finally gave in to my wife and we bought her last July: our first family dog. Whilst I'm not so cool on the nail varnish and ribbons that she comes back from the groomers wearing, overall she is a positive additional to our family. She's also a decidedly difficult subject to photograph, as she just sucks up light, forcing lots of over exposure and blown backgrounds.<br> rgds,<br> james</p><div></div>

spencer_chrouser
<p>My Grandmother was in town visiting and we went out to eat for lunch at a restaurant called Macaroni Grill. It's an Italian restaurant that largely serves different variations of pasta. I however chose to get the Margherita Pizza and I must say it was delicious. Those grape tomatoes on top really add an extra touch.</p> <table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" width="100%"> <tbody> <tr > <th> <p>Camera</p> </th> <td><a href="http://www.flickr.com/cameras/canon/eos_7d/">Canon EOS 7D</a></td> </tr> <tr > <th>Exposure</th> <td>0.008 sec (1/125)</td> </tr> <tr > <th>Aperture</th> <td>f/4.0</td> </tr> <tr > <th>Focal Length</th> <td>19 mm</td> </tr> <tr> <th>ISO Speed</th> <td>2000</td> </tr> <tr> <th>Exposure Bias</th> <td>-1/3 EV</td> </tr> </tbody> </table> <table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" width="100%"> <tbody> <tr> <th>Lens Model</th> <td>EF-S15-85mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM</td> </tr> </tbody> </table> <p> </p><div></div>

kazwiltshire
<p>Doing quite a bit of studio work at the moment, so since being made redundant i have decided to give it a go to earn some money. Converting the garage area into a studio but the set up is in my kitchen at the moment (i take it down when not in use). I try to be inventive and make the sessions fun for the kids, this is my daughter again(sorry) trying to get some jumping shots. As i cant shoot any faster than 1/160 because my flash trigger isnt that fast i find these quite tricky to focus. This is a good sharp one though.</p><div></div>

dan park
<p>My wife getting in on the act at my youngest son's birthday party. She had the 5D and 17-35 and I had the 30D with the sigmalux. It's great to be able to give her the camera now and take a break from shooting.</p> <p><img src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/_YnKXlWOhGOE/TWE3d39kP1I/AAAAAAAA_yw/MK7IQjOHQ1g/s700/IMG_0013-2.jpg" alt="" /></p>
kerri_albano
<p>I didn't have much time to shoot this week as it was my birthday and we were running all over the place! I now have both my boys in hockey and one also does basketball. Schedule is a BIT crazy! Last night however, I was washing dishes at my kitchen sink and looked up to see this beautiful doe in my backyard. You better believe I grabbed my camera and snapped a couple shots before she high tailed it back into the woods. :-)<br /> <img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v96/KerrBear219/Deer.jpg" alt="" /></p>
