18.
just arrived today all the way from japan with a nice case
fits my c330f perfectly not so the c3 but that doesn't matter
I took the base off and removed all the dust, cleaned the mirrors and fixed the fuzzy viewfinder lens with car paintwork cutting compound lens is now sharper
when I put it on my c330f I noticed a great side effect
the tlr is now so easy to use as a point and shoot camera, it is so easy to hold in your left hand
focus and twiddle with the meter with your right hand fire with the left
I didn't expect this
no mirror slap either like my bronicia ectl I wonder if that will make much difference
this tlr things getting interesting
view finder is bright enough
regards Andrew

 19.
Guys
I wanted a black 55mm for my c330f and there wasn't any for sale
I was just browsing the mamiya tlr cameras for a look and found a c3 with a black 55mm
I thought id buy it for the lens and put the c3 on the shelf
for the price the lens was cheap and the c3 basically free
I didn't think id like a c3 compared to my c330f...I was wrong
its a really nice camera ...and so is my c330f
funny how things can be bought
has anything like this happened to you
regards Andrew

 20.
Cory
the one I made is on the right
regards Andrew

 21.
I made the lever out of 1 mm sheet steel and folded the bits in a vice and using plyers all the new bolts are all m2mm I had to rethread the bracket on the cameras front door to form the pivot and used a little super glue to stiffen the bolt to the correct tightness the bole at the back that slots into the button slider on the canera was rhreaded into the sheet steel and locked with a nut
the spring was also missing luckily I had a slightly stiffer spring in my parts box that fitted
regards Andrew

 22.
guys
I have 2 ensign 420 cameras one with an epsilon shutter and 105mm ensar lens that's complete and one with a prontor shutter with a100mm ensar lens that had a missing lever connecting the shutter release button on the body to the shutter release lever on the lens
so I took the lever out of the camera I had and I copied it and made a new one as well as I could
its not identical as I used different fixings and I think it was worthwhile doing it
and it works hope you like it
regards Andrew

 24.
Guys
I contacted the seller and he said the camera came from a farm just outside Tukums
that was behind the German lines in the Courland Pocket in 1945
the thing is Tukums is located between 2 units ive seen marked on a battle map one to the north is 16 Army which was a german infantry unit and what is marked on the map to the south west is a unit known as VI SS which I presume were german SS but could have been Latvian SS
I have posted a question on a ww2 site to see what they say
I will let you know what they find out for me
regards Andrew
