@Trisha. Thanks again Trisha. And im happy she didnt wear a hat in this one, much better without one in my opinion. For some reason she always sneaks one with her hehe. Glad you liked this image and for you fine comment.

/Hope you had a good x-mas and new year. Martin.

@Andres, Thank you, sorry for taking such a long time to answer your comment. Been busy and have not been here much.

Im happy you like this shot, Thank you for you comment!

    /Martin.

  1. Nice dramatic image. I really like the colors and mood of the picture.

The sky in my opinion , would be as suiting with just a grey sky and not that amount of PP. It looks great, but in my opinion almost all landscapes and nature images now involves a dramatic sky. And of course in this case it is suiting with the dramatic sea, but i just think in many cases it is not nescassary:) Just my thoughts. Otherwise its a great image.

  2. Thanks a lot Trisha! Yes it is my wife in the picture. It was just a lovely autumn day and we swung by the castle there during daytime and we got some lovely autumn pictures that will become a nice memory from that day:)

Thank you Jack, yes i just had to take a shot at this scene as i was passing. Was a fun moment as a big crowd of tourists were walking around just in front of them so it was a perfect moment for me to try and get a few shots off pretending to pick other shots out.

    Cheers, Martin.

Thank you for that beautiful comment. And in the same heartbeat i say im sorry to hear about your son. I hope he is doing better now.

I can honestly say that of all my photos the series i have with Linnea from the hospital and the days surrounding her illness are some of my most precious ones. It was taken with my Old Nikon F100 on Trix and i wouldnt wish they were sharper or cleaner or anything else, they are perfect as they are, for me in any case. Many of those older shots i took had more feeling to them and atmosphere than many of my newer shots taken by newer cameras.

So exactly as you say i will always cherish these moments through those photos. even though it is both a difficult thing to remember they are a reminder of what could have been and that always gives a feeling of being thankful.

    Thank you, Martin.
