IMHO a tighter crop on the right would get the eye more in ROT and would improve this image. Love the lighting

Thanks Len. Not sure why it looks so noisy on here....maybe because I had to resize it? There is no noise when I print them

Beautiful capture! I would do a tighter crop and lose the tree and clone out the distracting branch, if you are into post processing

Thank you Janice

I like the comp. If this was mine I would clone out the blue and lighten shadows enough to make the eyes show up. It also seems a bit noisy to me....Beautiful pup!

Great expression on the one dog. If this was mine I would focus on that....everything else is a distraction IMHO

I would love to get some feedback on this shot. Thanks!

Great detail. I would warm it up though....seems too blue overall

Hi everyone! I haven't been here in a very long time. Besides computer
issues, I felt out of my league here. Not anymore! I was given a brand
new entry level DSLR in Nov. (Sorry Steve......it's a Nikon! LOL)
D3100. I haven't put it down! I feel I have taken my photography
skills to an entirely new level and I want to climb higher. That is
why I am here for critiques on crop, comp, lighting, EVERYTHING....
from the incredible photographers on this site. Thanks in advance
everyone. Michelle

This has got to be one of the most amazing shots I have EVER seen of a bird of prey with a fish! The lighting, clarity and detail are exceptional! This is truly AWESOME Steve

Hi Grayham
This is beautiful! I love the lighting, comp and the softness of the bird's feathers.
So, how did you get it to strike the perfect pose? LOL

IMHO a tighter crop on the top and more space on the right would greatly improve this image. Wonderful capture
