IMHO the bird should not be dead center and there is not enough of the bird visible. Nice lighting!

Beautiful capture! I would do a tighter crop and lose the tree and clone out the distracting branch, if you are into post processing

I like the comp. If this was mine I would clone out the blue and lighten shadows enough to make the eyes show up. It also seems a bit noisy to me....Beautiful pup!

Great expression on the one dog. If this was mine I would focus on that....everything else is a distraction IMHO

Great detail. I would warm it up though....seems too blue overall

Comp and cropping is always a challenge for me.  I was concerned the BG was too plain.... Hoping to get a new tripod AND a remote shutter release someday.

Not a fan of the border, but this comp is so different from what I usually see on raptor images! I love it! I also think you have incredible lighting, clarity and detail on this.
