Why not crop out the softbox?

Intriguing... y'don't get parties like that at the CoOp in Merthyr...

Very "Matrix" :-)

Nice shot, well caught.

Great light, very nice composition, though her hand looks a bit awkward, perhaps.
-
I like it - well timed, energetic shot!

superb portrait!

I'm with the others on the bottom-right thing, otherwise simple and elegant composition.

Striking image. Again! Nice work.

Striking and refreshingly confrontational. I'm not too keen on the white skirting board - although it doesn't really hurt the composition (I suppose), it is rather distracting and adds a snapshotty feel, for me. I think I'd prefer her hands in the palm-slighty-forward "anatomical" position, too. Overall, I like it.

I'm with the first comment: heheheheh!

Very nice. I keep holding my hand up to it and cropping 10-15% from the left, making it more abstract-seeming, but I'm not sure which I prefer. Nice take on the old slow-shutter water theme, and evocative as well as visually striking.

Lovely picture. Only niggle is that it's a bit too small to see well!

Hmm. Mebbe I'm just of a more morbid turn of mind, but at first glance she looks like the victim of some awful fire, to me. Quite disturbing.
Interesting that what I presume is a burlesque depiction of "woman served up as confection"
(or whatever) hasn't drawn comment either way
from those who feel that the hair and movement
you've depicted elsewhere are sexist.

Nice shot!

The picture including feet and hands is a better photo, in my opinion (perhaps because it seems more of a portrait, not sure). As for "color makes it pornography": brilliant! Must be why sunsets are so popular! :-)

¡David, gracias - el cielo era grande para vuelo a vela en ese día! Rogan - I fly gliders, so I was looking at the sky - hadn't thought to turn it into a cigarette ad, I have to say... I guess the subject is really the clouds leading off to wherever, with the sense of motion Rick mentioned. Should have called it "cloud streets" or something, 'cept they're not obviously lined up. A picture about sweeping space and an over-fondness for wide-angle lenses, I guess :-)

These are wonderful, I reckon.

I think the photos in this folder are most excellent.

Another wonderful portrait, and such a relief that you resisted the temptation to put the copyright text across her nose!
