Anthropomorphic? Like how the shadows work in this.

Thanks Jack. Yep, she was lovely! It was funny because she was there with a friend, and I think she did all the talking and was very animated. I took several photos from fairly close range and she never looked.

Straight on and direct with great detail, yep, like a mug shot. Really good.

Everything about this including the photographic treatment screams to me of the 50's like it popped out of some photo album.

Nicely done Jack. There's a lot going on visually and I think by the way you really tightened the composition into the geometric shapes helps the woman emerge. Very cool shot.

I'm morbidly fascinated by the whole process!

Thanks Jack, see grass, shoot grass:)

How come one heads larger than the others? Is it life, or is it Devo.. It just goes to show, its not just what you see, but how you see it. Is it some weird coincidence that you always find these bits?

Allen, great use of a longer lens on the street. Very nice.

I came across this on the Cannon to Fuji thread and I'm glad it popped up at the bottom of the page. Really nice moment Allen and done well. Narrow focus definitely the way to go here.

Want to make sure were not talking at cross-purposes Jaime. What I was meaning was if you want to post on the Leica/Rangefinder forum and/or the Street Documentary forum, they both are here in Photo.net. Just go up to the top left of this or any page in photo.net and run your mouse over or click on Forums and you will get a list of all available forums. Just click on any one you are interested in, and you are in the forum. No need to join, you can just start posting as you wish. Is that what you were referring to??

I blame the good exposure entirely on the camera! Just for a spoiler alert, they were watching with grim fascination as USC blew a lead and lost the NCAA men's basketball game with about 2 seconds left after a series of miscues let Providence back into it. or.... they are watching Godzilla rising over the top of the building in front of them!
