  1. Its insignificant and I wouldn't spend much energy thinking about it.
  2. My favorite instructor in the photo classes I took always believed in cropping where needed. We had to make these little cropping frames to see in our exercise of finding the photo in the photo. But people have different philosiphies, rationales for them as to cropping. Personally I crop if I think it will make it better.
  3. Also, if you Google the question "Sensor overheating issues in modern digital cameras", the articles seem to be from a few years ago and are talking about long videos and live view on DSLRs.
  4. Before you can prove heat issues do not happen, there needs to be concrete evidence that the the problem occurs in the first place. You haven't done that. Where is you evidence, besides your unsupported assertions, that the problem even occurs in the first place. It seems no one here has experienced the problem, including yourself. Why should anyone believe you then?
  5. That would probably be Tri X 400 Arthur though it might also possibly be Neopan 1600 but more likely TriX.

  7. Good looking set of Photos Arthur. Quite nice.

  9. You might check with Sherry K. at Golden Touch Camera. M5's are her specialty. I'd call her if you want to get some advice and then you can send her the pics. She'll know what's going on.

Thanks Jack. It was fortunate that the light was just right, coming through the trees to make this an "enchanted" forest. But I too was ready to lie down in that little nook having just hiked up 3500 vertical feet and back down it when we came to that spot.
  11. Is that the choices? More than or just mere vacation or family event snapshots? I like to share photos, even event and travel snaps. If I'm shooting for my personal work, than It has to first be something that means something to me. If other's like or don't like it, doesn't matter nearly as much as whether I do. Saying that, I do enjoy it when people like my photographs, but its not the main criteria.
  12. Basically age, and/or heat etc. way stored etc.
  13. Ice House Canyon Trail to Bighorn Peak in the So-Cal San Gabriel Mts. The big view and the tree in b/w is on the high ridge between Bighorn and Ontario peaks. The forest is in Ice House Canyon. Enjoy.

  21. Ok, whatever you say. But it's incredibly narrow and presumptuous and not sure what you mean by 'ego' photos. But suit yourself. As you say, its your humble opinion, not a rule to be followed by anyone but yourself.
