1. There were many icebergs on the beach that day, and these two called my atention. So I grabed the very wide angle to take the shot. There were also very beautiful lenticular clouds product of the high winds. Ratings and critiques welcome. Thanks.

4. Not bad at all, but anyway return to the same site and take a sunset with nice clouds whenever possible. That would be fantastic. Good luck. I envy you with all that open sea and coasts. Where I live, I have sea, but fjiords, let´s say interior waters. Not so spectacular open sea coast as you have. Daniel
5.
Both format FX for landscape and DX for fauna or some landscapes as my sigma 120-400 mm wil transform into a 600 mm. And anyway always good to have 2 or 3 bodies. I have 7000, D800 and DF. Good luck.

6. We are in the north of Chile, and many villages like that have been abandonned for the lack of water and youth went to cities. The mining industry takes all the water away! At that altitude (4.225 m), like is not easy neither. Thanks for rating and critiques.
7. Last light on Cerro El Castillo, in the unknown Sierra Baguales, near the border with Argentina, East of Torres del Paine. thanks for ratings and critiques.
8. Eastern tip of the island and Pacific Ocean. Looking towards the continent. Thanks for critiques and ratings.
9. Maciek, A huge composition, Looks like an island. Is it an island or a kind of peninsula? Hapily there were dark clouds over the mountains. Looks like a scenery from another planet. Congratulations. Daniel B.

Greg, thank you for your comments about my boulders, which did not attract much other photographers. I entered you site, and saw that this picture of you also has a lot of geometry. Well done too. I like the pictures with not much sky at all, especially when the sky offers nothing more. Greetings. Daniel B.
11. Larry, I made a new postcard with this picture and just received the sample from press mill. it came out much better and many details on all the posts. I did not change anything on photoshop. It is wonderful.
12. Laurent, Extremely well done. You are the master of the skies. The shade on the beach gives volume and the white on the wave movement, perfect. Congratulations. Daniel B.

Lake Tahoe Sunset

b Kris, Much power the lower stone in the centre and the tree on the left. Maybe cut part of the bit of tree in the border. so the main tree will have more power. Congratulations. Daniel B.
14. b Kris, Spectacular stones and composition and a very nice sunset. Congratulations. Daniel B.
15. The weather has been very sad in the last weeks but it is always possible to take advantage of that. A simple walk on my local beach some km south of Puerto Natales. Comments and ratings welcome. Thanks.
16. It has been sad weather now for two weeks in Puerto Natales. Anyway I made a walk south of Puerto Natales, on the sea coast and saw some very photogenic boulders. For this, it is the perfect weather. (Comments by the photographer, Daniel Bruhin W.)

18.
I have Nikon lenses from the 80s. I have shot with them until 2006. Kept all of them. And I am happy. All are AIS lenses and I use them with the D800 and the DF (FX both). I have kept some 10 lenses and some are double. Most F/1,2 and F/1,4 apertures, and the others F/2.8. Very good lenses for night photography, but also by day. Buy a digital body and use all your old lenses, with an adapter if necesarry. At least until you have some of these very expensive new digital lenses. I do the same, have not yet bought any new digital Nikon lens. See my night photographies of Patagonia, all shot with old lenses. Good luck.

19. Peter, This unusual larch tree was well photographed. Maybe the only suggestion would be to return in autumn and take the same photo with the orange colours of the leaves. That would be even better. Daniel B.
20. I have seen many from Mono Lake, which I unfortunatelly do not know personally, but this one has a magnificnet composition. Best regards. Daniel. Hope I can visit it one day.
21. Thank you Radu and John for your comments. This picture really deserved such a long description. But my opinion is that all photographers showing their pictures, above all in the critique forum, should accompany their photos with a small description or story. So we all learn more about the place they show us. I publish books and postcards, but I do only so with much information so that the public can learn. And believe it, a good text is very difficult to make and then traduce it in 5 languages and check the traductions is tough work.
22. An old tunnel no more in use and abandonned. Old route to Calama. Ratings and Critiques welcome. Thanks.
