Trying out newly acquired Pentax 645z. So far I like it. Seems to pick

up subtle colors, and have smooth gradations. What do you think?

Here is one of the images, where motive, composition, light and technique ads up to a wonderful result. Great work.

b Kris,

Much power the lower stone in the centre and the tree on the left. Maybe cut part of the bit of tree in the border. so the main tree will have more power. Congratulations. Daniel B.

Scrolling through the top photo's I saw the thumbnail of this one and literally said "oh wow" and quickly clicked on it.  Your image is tack-sharp and the exposure is great.  My only nit, and it's a small one, is the foreground rock being centered (not a huge concern though) I wonder how it would look a little to one side or the other.  The bigger (again though, not THAT big) is the front of the rock being cut off.  I'll leave the above comment but as I look at this more I actually like the position of the rock :-)  But I would still like to have the entire rock.  Great image all the same.  Congrats
