The most westerly tip of the island, where there is a very nice lookout (of the French Valley). The Cliffs are some 400 to 900 mts high depending where. The Endemic forests try to survive, but only the highest forests are surviving because many invasive plants are in war with the native woods. The other enemies of the woods are 2 species of rats that eat all seeds of the native plants. Rats came out of the first ship which discovered the island in 1574 and as well the next ships which visited the island in the following centuries. A spectacular site on an island I am fortunate to live on sometimes when I am not in Patagonia.
