Thanks for stopping by and commenting on this shot---one of my recent favorites. (Coincidentally, this beautiful young woman became a second time mom this morning!)
I always appreciate your visits. ~~~~~~~~~~L

I'm always amazed at the skill with which you create such harmonious, well balanced scenes. Terrific! ~~~~~L

Spectacular colors and detail. I think the blue gives the photo depth---an almost 3-D effect. I prefer the original post. ~~~~~L

Excellent, Drew. Thanks to Fred for helping me understand why this shot is so appealing to me.~~~~~L

You've always been willing to give me the benefit of the doubt on my "weirdness". . . . i,e, what I chose to post. Thanks. I'd love to post more photos but haven't been very successful in achieving the quality I'd like. So, for now, I'm working on quality rather than quantity. Stay tuned. . .~~~~L

I have to chime in with Bachir and the rest. Nicely composed, Jack.~~~~L

Thanks for your comment, Mark. Photos of flowers are a dime a dozen, I suppose, but I'm fascinated with their intricacies and how they change from day to day. I constantly struggle with the focus aspect. . . but I forge ahead. One day I hope to be satisfied with just one shot. ~~~~~L

Another great series, Markku. This is my favorite. Compliments! ~~~~L

Previous comments say it all so well. IMHO the curtain obscuring the child's face is the icing on the cake. Great work! ~~~~~~~~~~~~L

Wonderful, Marjolein! A classic shot. Beautifully composed. Compliments! ~~~~~L

What a great shot! I would add to previous comments that there is an intimacy and sense of quiet, even with traffic and people going about their business. Tones fit the mood perfectly. Well worth going out in the weather! ~~~~l

Many of my favorite photos on this site are of people, particularly shots that isolate one person and make me speculate on who they are, what they're thinking. Like you, I've missed alot of great "people" shots for an assortment of reasons. I keep after it only because I am fascinated with expressions, body language, etc. and all of those things that take a click at an exact moment to capture-----a very difficult thing to do. Thanks for your comment. ~~~~L

I'm so happy to have my photo stoke your imagination in such a way. Thanks for your always appreciated comments. ~~~~~~~~L

That incredible artist, nature, who creates such masterpieces as this. I prefer the b&w only because it makes me examine all the intricate details indiscriminately. What a beautiful creature.
Nice work. ~~~~~~L

Thanks, Jack. I really wanted to capture her eyes. They were speaking so loudly~~~~~L

Beautiful, Amal! ~~~~~~~~~~L

What a terrific series! My fascination is in not knowing what I'm looking at.
Compliments! ~~~L

Two comments, Jack.
1. Creativity. You seem to have a warehouse full of it. Speaking only of myself, my creativity seems to ebb and flow. I take dozens of photos regularly. And, as anyone who is really being honest with him or her self does, I examine them with the critical eye that those of you on this site have taught me. I could post many of them to keep my offerings fresh but I think I'd be letting myself and those of you who have critiqued my work over the years down if I don't try to continually improve upon my craft.
2. I'm like a voyeur on this site. I try to view daily the work posted by you and so many others that I've followed for years as well as work posted on the forums. I seldom comment simply because it is often difficult to convey in writing my appreciation of the work I like.
I would conclude that I doubt I'm much different than others that you and I have followed and commented on. We are out here. And we continue to be interested. I certainly appreciate your leadership and example. Don't stop. ~~~~L

Couldn't agree more with all previous comments. A simple, beautiful shot (and yes, the framing certainly sets it off). ~~~~~L

Such an interesting choice of focus. I like it. ~~~~~~~~~~L

Silence. Yes. I like the faint hint of pink in the cloud layers behind the trees. The heavier clouds at the top are a bit symbolic-----heavy as if representing the coming darkness. Is it as serene there as you've made it seem? Nice work. ~~~~~L

I'm very drawn to these type images------ a mystery that isn't meant to be solved but studied, pondered. Great for the imagination. Nice work. ~~~~~L

Every once in awhile I post something that does nothing but amuse me. It's nice to know that it entertained you as well. Thanks. ~~~~~L

I have nothing profound to add. I like this for the unique qualities heretofore described. I have to complement you on opening new doors of creativity on a regular basis. I'm envious. ~~~~~~L
