I dream of a digital back I could swap out on my FM2N or any other Nikon MF camera. Heck, as much as I worship my Leica, I'd say if they can develop a digital back than anyone can.

I did a search at digitaltruth and they only had times for stock and
1+1 for neopan 400. If time for 1+1 is 9.5 min any guestimates for
1+3? For reference if delta 100 at 1+1 is listed at 11 min and 1+3
is 20 min then can I just do the math myself and say neopan 400 in
1+3 should then be roughly 17.25 min? Does it work this way, or does
all film behave differently? This shot is neopan 400 1+1 for 9.5
min. Next roll would like to try higher dilutions if possible.<div></div>

I agree with the last post. I have been using this combo regularly since I statrted, and the grain is very noticeable. I guess it's because overdevelopment. Last roll I tried cutting down devel time to 4.25 min at 22C from listed time of 5 min for this temp. The grain wasn't that bad this time although not great. I would like to try diluting more than 1 to 4 but cannnot find any info from digitaltruth. I don't often see many posts concerning t-max devel. Is the short developing time what turns most users off?<div></div>

Wow, Most of my post last night was deleted. I was pretty drunk, but I don't think I bashed the forum or anyone else for that matter. Oh well, I can't remember all of it anyway.

I don't think gear talk is unappropiate. Gear, technique, film,
digital, whatever methods one uses to nail their shot is viable info
IMO. These are the tangibles that a novice like myself can grasp and
try to perfect. The intangible thing that cannot be taught so easily
is how to see creatively. I at least would like to master the
tangibles so that someday, somehow, when a burst of creative energy
gets blasted into my head(i.e. from grant's photoblog(((smiley)))I
won't miss the shot due to lack of knowledge.
I admire a lot of photogs that I've seen on the LF forum and here on
the street forum as well. Many good photos appear daily for my
viewing pleasure. Thanks to all. I've also seen many photos I
didn't care for as well, some of mine are included in this heap to be
sure.
<p>
Now if someone can please school me on where I can buy some
creativity...

I've got hundreds of mistake shots that could've, would've, should've been good had I exposed/focused/composed/developed correctly. I like to go over these every now and then to try and learn from each shot and what I could do next time to become the king of all Leicas. Qhatever happened to the King anyway?<div></div>

Does the M7 have the same problems with dust getting in the viewfinder as the MP? I have been officially scared off from ever buying either an M7 or MP whether new or used because of the dust threads I have seen here. No big deal I know as far as pic quality, but it's just something that would irk me to no end.
Leica bigwigs. If you read these threads, I am a potential customer... Are you listening?

Yes it is bad. Yes it is delicate. Since you have cleaned it already check very closely. I think you'll probably find very thin scratches in the pattern you wiped. Good news is it won't affect your pictures, unless the scratches become so bad that it affects focussing.

Please critique: Fred Hall Fishing and Boat Show.
in Leica and Rangefinders
Posted
The Fred Hall show was last weekend in Long Beach. I had Friday off,
so I grabbed my M6 with 50 cron and my son and headed over mainly to
drool over $500 reels and buy a few odds and ends. I shot 2 rolls of
neopan 400 and 1 of delta 100. Lots of celebrities in the saltwater
sportfishing world here on the west coast. Along with product models
parading around in skimpy outfits. I spent 45 min. talking to Dennis
Spike(pictured in the Rancho Leonaro Resort picture) who is one of
the pioneers of ocean kayak fishing. As a fellow yakfisher, I
thoroughly enjoyed myself chewin the fat with one of my idols. I
felt like a 12 year old girl who gets to meet Justin Timberlake. Let
me know what you think. Any possibilty local fishing magazines and
such would find interest in these.
