Muchas gracias, Miguel! - - - George and ZT - - I am very grateful for your reviews. They give me clues that I may be doing right. - - - My best always, michael
Vincent, I suspect that, on a subliminal level, you'd love to live in this magnificent structure. Of course, it comes with a huge bonus - lots of nature that will satisfy your urge to wander. One more item - - - After reading Giangiorgio's comments, I took a closer look at the reflections. The ones of the building closest to those of the tree appear as if they were spliced on to the others. - - My best always, michael - - - - - - - -BTW . . . .I can't believe that this image drew only 23 views.
Wayne, this image clearly presents a welcoming atmosphere for boaters, for nature lovers, and for those who love both. The presence of a lone bird probably shaking moisture from its wings enhances the nature. However the human presence in the form of two people standing on the dock - possibly employees - adds interest. Finally, all the usual technical elements - composition, POV, colors, detail, and lighting are evidence of your expertise. - - My best always, michael
If this image isn't a paradigm of low key work, I don't know where else I will find one. Your relatively slow shutter speed obviously accounts for the linear streaks in the clouds. Bravissimo, ZT! - - My best always, mhl
ZT, the traveller is crossing a line. To me, that portrays him as brave, as a risk-taker. The muted colors and tonality give the image quite a lot of atmosphere. Xcellent! - - My best always, mhl
Well seen and presented, GC. I find the title quite interesting since there are no fish within the frame. However, the presence of the 3 women in an area that clearly is nautical in character and purpose does imply that their families will be eating fish for dinner tonight. You nailed the technical elements. If you want me to list them, I will. - - My best always, mhl
Wayne, after not being able to think of a response to your kind words, I decided not to respond. You know me well enough to think that responses are not warranted in all circumstances. - - My best always, michael
If only the cars could be transformed into a herd, likening them to animals. Then, perhaps this might resolve the problem of so much carbon-based emissions destroying our planet. Thanks very much, Mitch.
Wayne, your brief review made a huge impact on me. If only I knew a Buddhist way of thanking you. Perhaps I should stay silent. - - My best always, michael
Vincent, your reference to "Meddle" is, to me, a high honor. Don't ever be concerned about using references to P F when reviewing any of my photos. As to the upper right corner, it's the result of many composites. The original image was of a section of forest. - - My best always, michael
