  1. Interesting pose and fitting expression on model's face. I like her covering the mannequin's head with her hair. The metal pipe at the top background of her head is a little bit distracting and unnecessary but it is not a big issue in my opinion. I concur with others about cold toning. It is good. A nice photo.

A really good one. The wide angle perspective and positions of boats are superb. Background is nice and clean too. Best regards.

  2. Magnificent. Clearly one of the best photographs I saw in my life. The warm tones are good and depth of field is really nice.  Having the eyelash reaching  towards the bottom right corner is making a nice diagonal too. Congratulations on a brilliant photo.

    Dear Markku,

This is a wonderful photo of my favorite category. There is not much to say about composition because it doesn't allow much room for critism. I would like to highlight the beauty of the position of pontoons. The four at the front are lined together well with second from the left is broking the otherwise straight and monotonuos line in a rather well manner. The ones which really adds to the water part of the scene are the two small pontoons which are standing close together at the right side of the frame however. They are the strongest supportive element in this photo in my opinion.

The water which take place looks especially well to since it is soft with a good dose of texture retained. Furthermore as JeffS L correctly pointed out green light reflections goes well with the blue tones of the water since blue and green are harmonious colors. But alas, I wholehearthedly disagree with him when he says that the little bit of orange peeking and it looks good. The orange light is "peeking" indeed like an interloper who plans to intrude to this scene. The same light makes me disagree with Giuseppe Pasquali when he says that everything is balanced. But I also see that presence of this light was unavoidable however due to symmetry needs crated by cranes upside. Therefore I suggest removing the light and the illuminated crane first. Than carefully costructing a new crane with from the combination of two cranes of the right side which would be best solution in my opinion because it looks natural thanks to no repeating details. Like in the attached photo.

I want to say that this is a perfect photo anyway but I cannot forgive the presence of the light, really. Best regards.

  3. A really good one. I have been there and I couldn't take a photo nearly as good as yours. The fisheye perspective really makes this one. HDR is good and fitting albeit it is a bit too obvious for my personal taste. I disagree withOliver Racz about cropping. I too like symmetry which is important at architectural photos like this. I concur with you about the dark background at the left side. Maybe it should be cropped. Anyways  this is a very good photo. Congratulations.

  4. A fine long exposure night photo. I am curious if you used the SB-800 for fill-flash for the wooden barrier at the middle. If so wonderfully thoughful because it would be so dark otherwise. Anyways good photo. Best regards.

A very good photo. Framing is perfect. The fisher is arching back while he sits and this fits the angle and perspective of the photo well. Good work. Best regards.

Wonderful night photo. I agree with Vadim Arshavsky about this shot being an example of the finer ones of its kind. Reflection on the mirror statue is wonderful too. Congratulations.

I love the composition and perspective. The framing is perfect with no distracting elements. Except maybe the moving light artifact of HDR at the left bottom corner. It is not an important issue though. The surreal feel is no-good in my opinion. I suspect you did it in order to hide some gray clouds. It seems this night was unsuitable for a blue hour shot which is unfortunate. Because the photo is really good. Best regards.

  5. A very good low-light shot. The perspective is especially good in a way that reminds me the zero distortion of Sigma 12-24 f:4.5/5.6. The light and unsaturated blue of the sky doesn't do justice to the deep saturated blue shades of pool and purple/magentas of the surrounding environment. It should be improved at PS in my opinion. Otherwise a perfect photo. Congratulations.

A very good photo. Framing is perfectly done and photo is taken at the right second. Orange tones are just right too. Well done. Best regards.

  6. A really interesting shot. Golden tones of her body makes a good color combination with the purple shades of the background. Her body is perfect by body building standards and still retains womanly beauty too. The face is a bit pink and magenta which makes it a little unfitting to the color of body and it doesn't suit the photo overall in my opinion. I sampled color from her body and added in to her face in moderation in order to create an another version for comparison. A good photo. I enjoy your athletic nude series. Best regards.

  7. A good backlit photo with a high contrast level. The light at the floor is very nice since it is very bright and yet it does not render the floor detail-free.  The person has put his hands in his pocket I think and it makes him a more fitting figure to the atmosphere. Capturing him into the photo with him waving arms as he walks would not fit the emotion of the art gallery in my opinion. The symmetry is well done except the line at the uppest part is not exacly straight. It can be easily fixed at the photoshop without effecting the rest of the frame though. A very good photo. Best regards.
