Wonderful long exposure. The rock which is framed by the cave mouth (?) is really makes this one. Congratulations.

  1. Brilliant. I love long exposures and this one strikes me as very original since I could not think of using long shutter speeds like this. Movements of grasses and flowers are very nice since they all move to the center in a curvy way. Two shots combined is a good idea and having a little bit of grass stationary at the middle left is good in my opinion. Only thing which is negative is the rhythm breaking movement blur at the middle right bottom. Perhaps it can be cleaned in a careful way. If you have alternative shots of the same scene it would be easy. Nevertheless very good photo. Best Regards.

Magnificent. There is not much to say about the photo since it has no negative traits and the textures added by the ground are wonderful. The reflection of the person which is close to the gate is a minor minus but fortunately it is mostly blurry and color of his/her clothing suits the scene. I wholehearthedly disagree with Jesse Hayes about the pavement without reflection at the lower right side being negative since it has a nice curve which is fitting to the curves of the right side reflections. Very good one. Congratulations.

This is a nice flower photo which is enhanced by the blurry texture of the cactuses. I would like to see the mentioned blurry cactuses a little more luminant though since they have nice highlights which are turned to bokeh at the backwards cactus but they are gray at the moment due to underexposure of the background. Having the flower at the center is not a very good idea in my opinion. It should have been framed more close to the lower right of the frame according to the rule of third. Otherwise nice one. Best Regards.

A good night photo. Boat and its reflection, ferris wheel and the skyscraper are framed nicely with a curved foreground of nice details of tiles. As Shaun Dicker states the boat's reflection is very clear and this is very good. From the building to the left, I can see the perspective correction is done superbly at the post processing too. Only thing bad about this one is having the sky black. If it was night blue, it would be perfect. Best Regards.

I like the bug's antennas going out of  the two corners of the upper frame. I also like the in-focus flower petals which are at the lowest part of the image. The photo needs some contrast in my opinion though. You may have deliberately keep the contrast low in order to give a soft feel but colors do this already I believe. Having the central spire-like extensions of the flower (what is their name? Mail me) between the "V" created by the antennas of the grasshopper contributes to the photo also. A very nice photo. Best regards.

An original photo. The composition is rather interesting and backlit light is very good. I like the flower being at the lower portion of the image too. And the angle we see it is rare. Congratulations.

Truely magnificent. The silhouettes are very clean and the outlines are very nice. I like the gradual dark tones of the lower portion of the sky too. The small amount of detail of the nest at the foreground is also good. Although I would like to paint a little bit contrast into it selectively since the low contrast there seem a bit unnatural compared to the very high contrast of other parts of the image.  This is created by detail recovery being overdone at this parts I suspect. The saturation should be reduced locally after local contrast increase if my advice is taken. Nevertheless it is wonderful already. Best Regards.

    Blue Morning

Wonderful photo. Colors are brilliant and reflections are very nice. Having the sail of middle one of the three boats to the right overlapping to the sun's reflection shows that timing is well done. The framing is a little bit tight for my taste though. I would like to see it more spacious. A framing which is like your similar photo named Morning Blush http://photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=6073100 provides this spacious framing. But the horizon is not straight at this other example and sun is not so dramatic like in this one.So I like this one better. A very good photo. Best Regards.

Wow. This is really nice. I remember some old important photographer saying: If your photo is not good enough you are not close enough to your subject. Good lesson. I rarely see it this well used though. The yellow petal which makes towards the upper left corner is very nice. The shallow depth of field and green-yellow colors are very good also. Congratulations.

  2. Wonderful. As AmirAli has stated it is easy to recognise a photo as yours. It is very good to see that we have photographers who has their own style and specialization. But I disagree with him about depth of field. It is very good this way. Especially, the horizontal branches which are at the lower left side of the image would be ugly if they were in focus. The overall tones are very good and vignette is fitting. A wonderful photo. Best Regards.

When I took this one, me and this friend of mine were checking a

shopping streeet before christmas to see if the illuminated

decorations could give us some opportunities about getting good night

shots. The trip was about to end and I was disappointed and

unimpressed about the scene. Since I was already given up, I was

standing next to him and chatting with him while he was preparing his

tripod to shoot a shop's display window. Then I saw this little lamps

reflection from his lens. I took the photo handheld.

    A Gently Warming Sun

I was viewing your portfolio and this one is my personal favorite.  A very original and beautiful photo indeed. The silhouette of the reptile is very clean and very well positioned. I also like the thick cetral vein of the leaf which makes a diagonal enterance to the photo from the left bottom corner of the frame. It really adds to this photo. I must say, I disagree with Donna Stavis when she says that this photo would be better if sky was not included. Like this one: http://photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=8482032 Such a framing excludes the diagonal vein  which is a major minus in my opinion. The sky must remain also I believe albeit it has blown-out clouds and blue saturation unbalance. Saturation is easy to fix as I do in the attached version but clouds need work.  Nevertheless a really beautiful photo. Congratulations.

Very nice. The photo has a overall warm tint. But having the only strong color, which is red, at the legs and antennas of the bug is really making this photo in my opinion. Well done.

I like fisheye photos and I certainly like this one. The framing is very good and texture at the cloudy sky is really nice. I am happy to see the girl at the climbing platform. Although  the tumbling boy is more dominant thanks to the contrast created by the backlit light, I believe the girl is a nice supportive element too. Best regards.

  3. A good scene with vivid colors. I like the yellow trees which are close at the lower right corner. They are very well placed in a way which fits to the rule of thirds perfectly. The color contrast created by the greens/reds and softened by the yellows is nice too. Nice one. Congratulations.
