1.
To prolong the life of Profoto's Pb (12.0V, 5.0Ah, Non-spillable lead/acid) or LiFe (13.2V, 5.0Ah, LiFePo4) batteries, is it advisable to trickle charge indefinitely using either the proprietary Profoto Charger 1A or Profoto Charger 2A?

 2.
Has the silver lining of your umbrella ever fuse together like mine? The silver separated from the umbrella when it opened for the first time since 2008.

 3.
Can I replace the stock Profoto AcuteB2 AirS sealed lead acid battery with a generic 12 V 5 Ah battery? Or, do I need to replace with a Profoto battery? Here is a link to the stock battery.
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=&sku=1009424&gclid=CjwKEAiA3vamBRDJ1Lfwt5Pckw4SJAAdhnk2kiaTyK7VduEVvphsgSVmlB39Nw9EmVd1tWD8NBT9KBoCnWrw_wcB&Q=&is=REG&A=details

 5.
Study the Canon F-1N specifications (including it's titanium shutter). Determine which view finder suits your needs. Establish if the winder or motor drive with AA batteries would be appropriate for your style. Consider the Canon FD 50mm f/1.4 lens as your workhorse.

 6.
I will try the sling style strap. If careful, it won't mark the SLR. Thanks, Mark.

 7.
The New F-1. I use the 1984 Los Angeles version with the AE Finder and AE Motor Drive FN. Sometimes I would attach the Speed Finder FN.

 8.
Thanks, gentlemen. I think a sling strap like the Black Rapid would be better. The SLR will hang from it's tripod socket instead. No wear and tear from the neckstrap.

 9.
Do you recommend an alternative to the below links to protecting a Canon New F-1 LA SLR from brassing at the neckstrap area? My used camera did not come with the triangular strap rings. Thanks.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/281116713685?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Grimm-Camera-Strap-Lug-Ring-1-Pair-Dark-Brown-for-Canon-Minolta-Fujifil-etc-/171550151072?pt=US_Camera_Straps_Hand_Grips&hash=item27f12f91a0

 10.
Do you know if the unit will actually display 1600 degrees Kelvin? Have you seen it display 1600?

 11.
Will the Broncolor FCC Flash Color Chronoscope and Minolta Color Meter IIIF display colour temperature readings below 2500 degrees Kelvin? Or, will the display show "Under"?

 12.
With my Sony Cyber-shot DSC RX100 M2 set at AVCHD File Format, will the Record Setting of 60p 28M (PS) use up storage space faster on the flash card versus a Setting of 24p 24M (FX)? Thanks.

 13.

does the sony rx 100 II rival DSLR cameras with respect to autofocus accuracy and speed and how about in low light conditions? Is it a good buy?

I am jumping into this thread late, but have used the camera on vacation two weeks ago in Chicago and at the United Center for a concert. To answer your question: the RX100 II does not rival my Canon EOS 5D Mark III and Canon EOS 6D with respect to autofocus accuracy and speed and in low light conditions. The camera does have it's advantages with respect to pocketability and video/audio performance.

 14.
Some will post the street candid images on Flickr for all to see. It is just another category to appease specific viewers or voyeurs.

 15.

In reality, what are the chances of both cards corrupting?

So, far with my Lexar Professional 1000x 32GB CompactFlash UDMA 7 and ADATA SDHC 32BG Class 10 cards inside my Canon EOS 5D Mark III have been none.

 16.
I've been burnt with aftermarket batteries from online retailers. I buy OEM from B & H. A bit more spent but without the short term headaches.

 17.
What's stopping you? Make the switch. I did. I went from several Canon PowerShots to a Sony Cyber-shot. But, I kept my Canon EOS and EF gear for quality assignments.
