I presented this as a silhouette (without any details) because the house was half finished and the facade was definitely not contributing to the photo. This way the house has an almost oriental quality to it. For me the greatest feature was the unobstructed window.

I left the dark area on top in order to create a second window (in the sky) and to balance the bottom part of the photo but that's really a matter of taste...

Aside from the curiosity of the motif I was attracted here by the textures which I managed to pronounce the best in B&W.

Somehow I never managed to produce a satisfying color version...

I used the word symbiosis here in a broader sense referring to how the old olive tree and the skull seam to have found an existential common purpose, whatever that may be... but I agree the title's meaning "strains" under closer scrutiny...
