Its hard to take a picture in portrait orientation with the waist level finder, so most people preferred to use a prism finder, most were probably sold with a prism finder over a waist level finder making them scarcer.

Still have yet to see an image that shows the problem, i have search quite a bit and i cant find a posted image that shows a problem due to film flatness.

-

Freestyle still shows it in stock.

It sounds like to me that the lens was set to "M" release when you shot the 4 rolls.

I'm pure digital capture and inkjet prints. Will I get my money's worth if I'm just a digital photographer, or are my funds better spent elsewhere?

The book does cover hybrid processes for black and white, but its main focus is on film and darkroom processes for making, toning, and displaying images. It is a great book with a lot of information in it but it is more aimed at film processes.

For a shoulder bag i have a Tenba P676. Works great for my RB 67 kit. Not super great for long hikes though.
Holds Rb body, 3 lenses, 3 backs and misc. gear.

I really think you are underestimating the affect of internet sales orders. I really doubt that most people who still shoot film give up when they cant find a particular product locally.

Little confused, i use a RB67 and i can get all ten frames on a sheet of 8x10, 2 strips of 3, two of 2 frames.

Looks to me like the Adams' family speaks from two sides of their mouth--

How so, they control the copyright of Ansel Adams, they can give permissions for calenders and still stop someone from using they Ansel Adams name. I see no conflict with this.

Looks unfixed, light exposed film would be black after development.

I'm starting to play around with some strobes and looking to get a pc male to pc male sync cable, was a little confused on cables with screw locks. Can these be used with pc terminals that are not threaded, or can the crew lock only fit into a terminal that is threaded for the lock.

Thanks.

Dante's view would be better in the morning, you are looking west over the valley, at night you would be looking at a sun set. Same deal for zabriskie point. Personally i didn't find Scott's castle all that interesting. The salt flats near bad water are intersting, worth walking around for a few hours. I strongly recommend going out onto the dunes after sunset, 1-2 am if the sky is clear. Past 2 years i have spent the last week of Dec. in the valley, its a lot of fun.

The L-358 gives you all the combination for shutter speed and f-stop for what you meter off you. You just turn the dial on it after taking the meter reading to get the combination that you want.

Make sure the aperture ring on your lens is locked at f/22 ? or "auto" I believe this is culprit.

That would display "Fee" as the error code.

Use a hood.

I like the assumption that because it is made out of metal, then it is a good design and cannot break.

-

"fEE" is the error code for lens aperture ring not set to minimum aperture. "Err" is the code for a camera malfunction. Its in the user manual page 193.

You have to cock one lever on the right side of the body to reset the mirror and shutter, and a separate lever on the film back to advance the film to the next frame.

I wouldn't know how to check it, short of shooting a test shot. I can't see why you wouldn't get 100% view, unless they designed it wrong.

The RB 67 and RZ 67 have 95% of the field of view in the view finder according to Mamiya.

-

You can also push the shutter cocking lever on the body to close the shutter when it is set to "t"

You need a high clearence vehicle to get to the race track, Eureka dunes is off of a gravel road that doesn't require any serious 4 wheeling. Even still it takes a day to get to and from the race track.

"this means not interrupting the moment in order to record it"
"larger louder cameras are okay once the subject has adapted to ignore the camera or when documenting reactions to the presence of the camera."

Your "philosophy" has a conflict.
