Just beautiful.

I like the picture even though I think the saturation is a bit up. It lends a cartoonish quality that belies the dignity of the woman. I like the fact that you have tilted it so that she is essentially upright and the world askance. I think it gives dignity to her hard back breaking work.

Something peculiar here. It does not look as if the beach and the water are in the same plane.

This beautiful lady has to share her quarters with a Russian Sub and

an old ferryboat which I took the liberty to PS out. If you look

carefully you can see the masts of HMS Rose of "Master and Commander"

in the background. Olympus C8080.My battery was dying fast and I just

squeezed this last shot off before it died.

Would appreciate any comments on my choice of viewpoint and using PS

to delete the distractions of sub & ferry.

Alex, you got the just the right moment here. The light lends a mystery that I doubt would be there 15 minutes before of after this instant. Visually compelling. Bravo.

David, there isn't a one in this portfolio that I wouldn't hang in my home. You have taken the ordinary and brought a vision of the extraordinary. i.e.Your work seems to straddle the worlds of reality and dreams. And I venture that many of us have better dream than real worlds to visit. Thanks for posting; they are inspiring.
