Lalit, At first blush I too thought it was a bit cluttered, but the lines in the composition always draw you back to the subject. No matter where you start your eyes they always drift to the right place. Regards, Bernie

Paloma, This is one of those pics that can take any number of crops, and no matter how you slice it, it always comes out a winner. Regards, Bernie

Just for fun

Stunning; beyond my words to appraise. Regards, Bernie

Bertlomiej, Magical!A pic I want to crawl into. The tree line going one way, their shadows another, and the trees pointing another. Wonderful tension between lines and color. Regards, Bernie

Thorsten, Nice portrait. The mood of the subject's expression is highlighted by the lighting. Regards, Bernie

Fernand, Nice. The moment is right; the shadows are interesting; there is a serene mystery here. Regards, Bernie

Chae, What a lovely pearl. Regards, Bernie

David, Interesting angle. You've taken a horizontal shot and tilted it over either by PS or waiting for just the right moment. Your DOF is also neat. Regards, Bernie

Gary, I love this boat and the color and the glassine water, but I think it begs a setting. It needs to be somewhere, connected to a scene.Regards, Bernie

Camilo, Wonderful capture. This is the look I used to give to students when they lied to me. Regards, Bernie

Alpo, Not D as I don't think Peggy liked dogs all that much; not A as it is just too precious; B or C or both as it is a fun picture to look at. I can almost smell his breath.(And of course there is the delightful irony between your name and his postprandial ablutions.)Regards, Bernie

catalin, I rarely comment on nudes, but this one has such a vulnerable innocence, I must praise your composition. Regards, Bernie

geri, nice use of DOF. The colors work well, and the peg is...well interesting. Well done. Retgards, Bernie

Oana, interesting elements of composition. However I do find the band of white separating the sky from the main body a bit distracting. Getting a perfect blend there will be a nightmare but perhaps worth the effort. Regards, Bernie

Alpo, what a different presentation. Pleasing colors, interesting focus. I really like it. Regards, Bernie

Evocative! The stoic stone castle against the raging universe. And the tree bent in submission. By God, lad, methinks you've created a metaphor for the Empire.Add nothing, subtract nothing. Regards, Bernie

Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar. PN contributors are experienced enough to value something unique. It is that perhaps which gives this image much of its credence. Bless you if you see more than my gauzed over eyes, meanwhile I'll continue to harvest my 3s & 4s in search a stunning contribution. Regards, Bernie (Now I can go look at the rest of Sabine's portfolio.)

Addendum: You might check the color balance too. Looks a little on the yellow side. B
