  1. D850 and 24-70mm f2.8E AFS Nikkor.
  2. D850 and 24-70mm f2.8E at 50mm on a Sunday morning at Flagpole Hill in Dallas.
  3. The lenses are very much in demand as noted for use/adaptation on digital bodies. Classic glass seems to be in vogue these days and the sellers know it. Back in the 80’s the Japanese were buying anything pre-1970; hording the stuff with buyers in America shipping as much back to Japan as they could get their hands on, at what was at the time very inflated prices, before their economy went into the tank. Much of it seems to now be coming back.
  4. Yes, Mr. Goldberg does service those meters, including calibrating them to use currently available batteries.
  5. MP240 and a Canadian-made, mid-1980's 90mm f2 pre-ASPH Summicron-M.
  6. "Opton" was the name West German Zeiss used until around 1954 when the lens plant at Oberkochen was opened and West German Zeiss changed the name on their lenses from "Opton" to just "Carl Zeiss", so the lens dates from approximately the early 1950's. I wouldn't call any of those cameras "rare". The later, better quality lens/shutter bodies (Tessar and later Synchro Compur shutter) are units users look for, and collectors want, but they want them in truly nice condition, which most are not and I'd venture a guess most trying to pass one along on eBay don't have any idea what the condition of what they are selling is really in, or they do and that's why it's an "as-is" with no return option.
  7. A B&W selection, with the 35mm f1.7 Voigtlander Ultron VM on an M246.
  8. Zeiss Contax IIA and the Carl Zeiss 21mm f4.5 Biogon. I believe it may have been Ilford Pan-F, and was scanned with a Plustek 8100.
  9. A few shots from the boat as we toured Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire last week, with the MP240 and 135mm f3.4 APO Telyt-M.
  10. From Maine this past week, with the MP240 and 35mm f1.4 Summilux-M FLE.
  11. MP240 and 75mm f2 APO Summicron. and 135mm f3.4 APO Telyt-M.
  12. From this past Saturday at an event where I was the "official" LOL photographer, with the MP240, the (outstanding) 90mm f2.8 APO Skopar and fill provided by an SF60 fired via the shoe-mounted remote controller at 1/2 power in manual mode, 1/160 second, f8 at ISO 200..
  13. Last Sunday morning and fishing at first light, with the MP240 and Voigtlander 35mm f1.2 Nokton III.
  14. MP240 and an oldie but goodie, the 135mm f4 Tele Elmar from around 1970.
  15. Sunday morning playtime at Flagpole Hill last Sunday, with the MP240 and 75mm f2 APO Summicron-M.
  16. MP240 and Voigtlander 75mm f1.5 Nokton. Same camera, but the Voigtlander 35mm f1.2 Nokton III this time.
  17. Arthur, congrats on the M10M. Heck of a camera. I'm jealous... MP240 with the 135mm f3.4 APO Telyt. The 135 APO is so darn sharp, I took this image and noticed some large birds circling the top of the Comerica Bank Building.. Crop from the above shot..
  18. The two Leica magnifiers seem to be unobtainable right now just about anywhere.
