1.
As strange as it may sound, I don't have an XQD reader, using this card only for backup.

 2.
I just bought this XQD card from local "e-bay". I have doubts about it , suspecting this is a counterfeit product. Didn't have the courage to put it in my camera.

 3.
The USB-hub is very useful to make sure that your zoom lens is not back/front-focusing by different amounts at different focal lengths or different distances in case of a fixed lens. From my own experience this kinda of tweaking is needed with Sigma lenses.

 5.
My D810 work with -11 FFT on all my lenses. Sigma 35/1,4Art is no exception (btw: wonderful lens) .I had no problems whatsoever with this lens.

 6.
I only hope The D5 will no longer have a Toyota sensor, like D4/4s...
Just a joke : Toyota owns 2.49% of Renesas Electronics (Runesasu Erekutoronikusu Kabushiki Gaisha) the makerof D4's sensor.
After only 3 weddings I sold my D4 (in 2013).Everything was wrong with that camera : noise, focus and WB.
Maybe mine was a lemon !?

 7.
Some "old" studio pictures taken with my old D3 :

 9.
After 2 months of non-stop canicular weather, finally I have time to spare and decided to find some cooler areas along the Danube river , relax and take pictures...

 11.
...Some pictures I like from my last wedding :

 12.
"The D700 is the only Nikon FX DSLR that does not have a 100% viewfinder"

...as advertised : "Match your view and your vision with the 100% coverage optical viewfinder, which has a bright, clear organic EL display system for making adjustments without taking your eye off the action."
http://www.nikonusa.com/en/Nikon-Products/Product/dslr-cameras/D750.html

 13.
"bright spots are sometimes noticeable in long exposures, and in some images captured at an Image area setting of 1.2× (30×20)"

I don't use this setting(s)..., why then sending back my camera !? (to become less sharp ?)

 14.
Mark, DOf is shallow - the picture was taken at F2,8 & 1/60 , focus aimed to subject faces. Probably downsizing to 700pix affect sharpness of the picture you see here. The reason I post this image : lots of midtone/midlight zones ,and even there the noise is well controled.
And one more thing : WB was set to AUTO !

 15.
Hi again Andrew,
I try to answer a few of your questions according to my limited experience with D810 :
- No autofocus improvement using regular auto or single point AF-c mode (didn't try the new "group AF" mode)
- Significant viewfinder improvement (especially in bright daylight) due to bright blue OLED display
- I think they really improved the metering (D3 like), and especially the results using Auto D-light function (enhancing blue sky - and wedding dress details)
- Significant high ISO improvement - 6400 excelent

 16.
My 32GB Delkin CF 700x work perfectly in D810 (also in D3, D4 and D800). I just shot a wedding this Saturday (using this card), and I consider D810 to be the best ever built digital SLR . Huge differences vs. D800..., excellent viewfinder, white balance, colours, dynamic range , lcd, low ISO perfect at 6400 ,no more read/write time lag on cards, consistent exposure and extremely low noise shutter .
And Dan, it works even with all my old CF/SD cards... :-)
