i really like the idea behind how you captured this. don't think i would have thought of that. makes me want to go out and try it. nice shot.

Forums are hit or miss seems like. Sometimes you'll get a big response sometimes no response at all. I think in the cases where small amount of responses come in is b/c the forum is too active and your post gets pushed out of view so quick. But with sweet photos like this you'll get a response either way. awesome shot man.

this scan really prob doesnt do this photo any justice. bet print prob looks much better. the bokeh looks great tho

i like the blue tones...suits the picutre. good bokeh too.

like the pic. great colors....the faded out sides of the barn really make the roof and the red walls on the bottom pop. great contrast with the blue sky too. i wish the day gave you some more dramatic clouds to work with tho. the blue sky is awesome...but the clouds are just kind of blah. also i think i would crop up a little closer to the fence. I like how white and untouched the snow is but b/c its so blown out i makes me feel like the barn is kind of just floating in the mid of nowhere b/c there is no distinction or texture to give the subject a base to rest on.

Hey everyone. It's been months since I've been able to post on P-net

again. Been so busy with the past holidays and work lately, havenﾒt

been able to devote much time to photography. But when i looked at

my nikon case starting to collect dust i said "i've got time, screw

the 2 degree weather outside, im going to go take some pics

anyway"....this is one of them. almost forgot how much fun it is.

 

Oh and i tested out lightroom on this guy. Have to say I love the

program so far. As a digital dark room it really can make your pics

look much more professional. Let me know what you think of my

editing work...the original is posted below...adjustments made in

lightroom...cloned out power lines done in PS.

this is the original. any comments on my p-shoping, hints, places you think i could improve are much welcome.

being in a band this picture really appeals to me. looks like it could be in a cd booklet. with the shot from behind it make it much more dramatic. like they just got done playing a show. this is a great combination of the things i love...music and photography...inspires me to keep going with them! Thanks for you kind comments (i hope ha ha). the one thing i love about this forum is not only the comments but the ones in languages i dont fully understand,...because its fun seeing what parts i can translate!
