    Pantanal

    I am going to the Pantanal the last 2 weeks of July to photograph jaguars, capybaras, birds, etc. Any suggestions, tips? I am taking my Nikon 200-400mm as my telephoto but debating whether to also take my 600MM old Nikon lens which is a good 15 lb. "beast". I will also have my 1.4TC

  3. more shots of the rough legged hawk that has been hanging out near the Boundary Bay dyke here in Delta, BC. They were all taken consecutively in about 5 seconds as it took off form the top of a tree.. It is amazing how fast the bird rotates its big wings. D500 + 600mm AF-I + 1.4 TC

  16. I could not tell what this eagle was eating but initially it was just tear ing off small strips of it. Then it decided to swallow what was left.
