Nah...hallucinating was at least a bottle away. The umbrellas were flying, but hadn't started flapping their wings yet. ;-)

We laughed, drinking San Mig Light until dawn.
We drank until the umbrellas took flight.

Gorgeous colors and detail.

Neat perspective -- I like the effect centered between the fountain spray.

I really like the effect here, especially with the sense of repeated pattern in the distance.

I'm not sure about the title -- seems depressing while the motion of the swinging bag is pretty lively. He doesn't look ready to keel over any time soon!

I'm fascinated by how the engine steam corrupts the lines of the telephone poles in this image.

I really love the perspective in this photo. Not as keen on the color saturation, but really like the bordering effect of the structure in the front against the barn in the background.

I really like the highlight effect on the tower. It makes the tower seem to rise even higher -- very dark mystery and power in this photo.

This photo is lovely. I'm just learning...so I haven't figured out how to really use the light (and my camera) to produce details that are as clean as I would like. Thanks for the inspiration.

This is so pretty. The picture is fascinating, as is fire. The matches look like people congregating on an accident.

The sunset and clouds are really nice -- also the very gentle reflection of the sunset on the water. I'm not as excited about the cropping of the top and bottom edges. The little wispy clouds break the tone of the image for me.

Lovely lighting.

It's a lovely scene. The glare on the right seems to bright for the rest of the image -- not sure how it looks full scale. Might consider cropping just to the edge of the fenceline and seeing if that helps or makes the perspective too flat.

I know this will be a weird comment -- but the photo reminded me of a baleen whale filtering water for plankton. Made me smile. I like the blue tones in the ice that mirror the tones in the water.

I agree with the comment about the awkward angles and garish wall -- but I like it and think it complements the personality of the subject. This girl clearly doesn't care about conventions, and (my guess is) would be fairly cynical about the idea of posing for a "cute portrait." So the defiant angles and slumped shoulders work for me.

I absolutely love how many forms of water you've managed to capture in a single composition -- still water, spray, torrent, smooth translucent ice, stalagmite ice clusters, snow, and frost. Amazing!

Too much contrast?
