its probably just because its compressed and this would be unoticeable on the full size, but it doesnt seem sharp enough to me. however, i do like the timing and the clouds behind it.
  1. Well, the 'original' didnt fair to well, so here is an updated

version which i think is a fair bit more interesting.

Comments, help or critique are appreciated.

    thanks for looking.

  2. i think that you might have a slight bit too much ground. A common critique i have gotten (on an aviation photo website) is to always try and get lower, and get less ground and more sky. Also, there is something weird about that red light, not sure if i like that or not and if it can be fixed but otherwise i think its fantastic.

very nice. i love how the sun comes right between the main and jib. judging by the wind, you must have had to wait a while for that.

nice framing, but whats the chance it could be sharper? bare in mind i have yet to take pics of airplanes flying using a telephoto, but thats the only thing i feel i can submit.

    nice job.

  3. I know someone may say the sky is blown out, but i seem to like that

as the trees show through it, and for the record, it was a very

    hazy/cloudy day.

Any comment or critique would be appreciated.

    thanks for looking,

  4. very nice. my suggestion would be to get a little lower and get a little more sky, but that could just be because i have heard that about my photos so much...

    where was this?

wow, this shot is amazing when viewed larger. there are some shots, like this, where i think it may be worthwild to suggest it. my only suggestion here is a tighter crop.

    nice job.
