Great color and texture. I questions the framing with the ceiling light half in the frame. When I scroll down and the globe disappears I think I like the image better.

This one is so close for me. It looks a little too posed. Most young boys I know would be focused on the turtle and the hand under the chin is a bit dated.

I think the lighting especially at the nose of the car is a bit dark. I also think the framing may be reconsidered either keeping the entire door number (54?) or not, cutting it of is a bit distracting.

Well executed signature, oh there's an image there too. Its nice as well. Consider reducing the signature or not posting if you fear someone will capture your image for their use.

I am still getting comfortable with the HDR look, but this image has compositional issues that are not related to that. The centered smoke stack forces my eye to the center and makes it hard to enjoy the other parts of this landscape.

I have written and deleted two comments and both are related to the couple in the doorway. Would the image be different, better, stronger if they were inside, seated? Are they coming in or is that hesitation? There is something here but I am struggling with exactly what it is.

The seated shot really captivates me, I believe its the contrast of her hair. In this stand up shot it seems we are loosing some of that quality.
  1. Strong powerful image that is trashed by the addition of "by Corine". Sad to see great work compromised. If the fear is someone taking the image perhaps consider not posting. Really fine edgy grungy shot otherwise.

There are a lot of things to like about this shot. One thought would be to change the perspective. Or consider adjusting the frame to reduce the background above the far bridge. It has the look of a tourist snap, a very good one but still a little stiff in composition.

The cropping thought is valid, but is tighter the correct direction? Clearly the arm is the issue, I would continue working on the area under the arm where just a bit of light hits the subject's (mannequin's?) hair. I like the lighting, I think the issues may be adjustments to the composition.

Scary is another possible title. The capture is great, I think you might consider a bit more contrast to make it punch a little more. Her hair color and the background tones are fighting a little. There are a few small highlights that are blown to pure white, maybe bring those back just a bit. She has my full attention.
  2. Tony,

Many of your BW shots are great, this one has a few distractions for me. The artist is clearly the subject but the sky and cupola on the adjacent brick building are competing for my attention. Perhaps is an issue of contrast or framing. Consider some post production work or perhaps a re-shot if that is possible.

  3. I love everything except the title, Peacefulness. The subject is in difficult terrain with only the backpack, hat and clothes. Great image, perhaps a different thought on the part of the trekker. Isolation, Determination, Fortitude?
