Very interesting subject. The dead center positioning can always be debated, but for me the image is too bright. I would prefer a bit deeper color with the highlights darkened a little. The texture is fantastic.

Nice image, well exposed but the deck in forground is a bit distracting. Have you considered re-framing or cropping the image soe the deck runs the full width at bottom? The black voids are a little distracting from the nice story you are telling.

Composition and focus are fine, I feel the image is flat with regards to contrast. The very light sky draws energy out of your shot. It need some more "punch". What story are you trying to get across with this image?
