Hi,

I did a Strange mistake when developing two of my 35mm (1x Provia 400 and 1x 64T

in cross process)... I started w/ 'never been used c-41 chem' So my Developer

was clear!!! I didn't read the bottle before pooring my first Chem (supposed to

be the Dev but it was The Bleach :) !@$@#...) A used Dev has a similar color to

the Bleach... Probably I was Tired... In the middle of the process *(tank

processing) I saw the Dev bottle floating in the water and My Heart Stop

Beating, My blood Goes down my feet!!! #$#%?@ What I did!!! So, I stopped this

current process (the bleach intead of the dev, after 2 min on 3... I then wash

throughly and poor the Dev for 3min15sec 38C and after the usual process

including this ##%@ bleach hehe! And My films are really strange... Seams to

doesn't have color and looks like over Dev... No contrast... The base I very

High (dark orange)... Is something I can do now? Or Could someone tell me

exactly what the bleach did on my undeveloped film, before the dev??? I need to

Know it's the cause of the strange film or my chem are bad... Whay there's no

color... Because the bleach destroyed almost the whole film before the dev? :)

Thanks Guys and Girls... Next time I will read on my bottles... My Developer is

not clear at all now, so I will never do this again... :) hehe! It was 2 film

from my Costa Rica Trip! :) Thanks!!! Better laught than cry !

hehe thx guys and girls for your answers... I Also prefer Epson application but since today it doesn<t works anymore... It says: Unable to import... because a twain thing... I downloaded new version of twain_32.dll that I pasted and I reinstalled the photoshop and the epson driver and progs and still have trouble... I<ve been able to acces Silverfast through photoshop but it scans dark frames... I<m really sad.. My scanner is 1 week old and I need to scan my Costa Rica trip cross process 4x5 sheet films... Someone help plz...

I have a Epson perfection 4990 and I would like to know if silverfast

6.2 is better than the regular epson scan application... I prefer The

epson prog for now but if the other is better I will learn to use it.

The Real question is: What are the the best settings for the output

file when scanning 4x5... DPI and output size... Thanks very much!

Hi,

You don't need the platic bag... Bring with you a rubber band for each box you will have and be sure you still have the three cart board boxes that fits one in other and this way it light tight. You probably know what to do with the rubber band when the box is closed ;)

I have a Graphlex S.G. and using a 127mm Ektar f4.7

When I do a slight movement, half way the sliding possibility of my

front panel, of shift (pulling the top of the lense bord upon me)

(shift or tilt??) sorry I only know the word in french ;) It cause the

lense to not cover the whole Sheet film... Bottom of my negs are not

exposed in corners... Is it Normal w/ this lense? Should I buy another

Lense or Another 4X5??? What should I do? Thx

I read a lot about X-ray and airports And I will pass my film in my

carry-on bag! I'll bring FortePan 200, Ektachrome 100 and 200 that

will probably be exposed half the recommended iso to ensure contrast

due to their age... (old films) and I was wondering if there is a

place to process nor ship here in canada nor bring back w/ me

unprocessed or processed nor WHAT to do!! :) I'll have a 'transfert'

in New York for the two flights! Will they X-ray in both airports for

both flight (going there and return) 4 times X-ray could damage my

films... It's why I was asking you if I can find a place to process

there! Thanks!

Without you people, I was going to buy the 4990 that is probably over-priced in front of the v750m pro! Nice deal!!! Waiting my Taxe refound (or taxe income?!)
