i personally like the way the colors work together in this photo;
i also like way the model and photographer work together to create such a powerfully engaging image; i can stop and rest here for quite some time and probably never get bored. . .there's so much to see and feel here. . .this is fine art to me. . .congrats!

Tore,
you have an awesome portrait portfolio! i always enjoy visiting;
i'm not sure if it's fair to say this photo is your best ever (technically or otherwise) but i will say that it's my favorite of this model;
i like the colors, the lighting, the model's pose and expression -- all superb!
i like the highlight detail in the jeans, and the shadow detail in the blouse;
this model has beautiful hair, so i would've loved to see more detail there,
but that's a minor nit pick which doesn't detract from the overall excellence of this photo; congrats! Asa

i'm not sure who to be more impressed by. . .you or your models?
great job!

I think this photo stands out from some of the other fireworks photos here on PNET because of its simplicity. . .a few bursts. . .and none overlapping others to such an extent as to visually assault the viewer. Great work Kenny!

Now that's a nice compliment! The kind the anonymous 3/3 brigade can never touch! Thank you so much Wim!! The flowers had the same effect on me which I suppose was the reason I chose to photograph the "best" looking one of the bunch.

to the community. . .Call me an amateur (well, I am actually), so I may not have the same critical eye as the pros, but I think this has got to be one of the best of the photos in its class of studio portraiture. Why then isn't the average rating much higher folks?
to Andrei. . .I've joined photo.net to learn how to be better since I've recently picked up the camera again; don't get many constructive comments on the photos that I submit for critique; so unless I quit my day job and neglect my kids to enroll in a photo school, my journey to improving via photo.net may be a long one indeed. . .my first thought (after WOW) when seeing this photo was that I'd like to get to this level of excellence one day. . .
so may I learn something by getting YOUR feedback on this photo. . .
what do YOU think would make this a photo.net 7/7?
am I just being naive. . .is it because she's not nude?
ok, ok. . .I know the audience is probably male dominated (but i really DON'T
know that for sure). . .but she IS VERY beautiful. . .enough to get folks to really LOOK at the photo. . .NO?
