Howard must be busy so I am starting this thread with picture of a hummingbird stocking up for the migration
south. They are quick and I am slow causing hurried shots. Shot any action shots this week?<div></div>
<p>Very nice picture Howard. That vegetation on the right must be hardy to live on rock. We have hummingbird feeders and enjoy watching them zip around. There was tiny humming bird (I thought) getting nectar from petunia blossoms. Never saw one that small and Indiana only has the Ruby throated variety. The only camera at hand was an iPhone but the enlargement lost all the detail. To attempt a better picture I put a 50mm on the A100 and waited and waited and waited... for several days. Meanwhile internet info revealed a Hummingbird Hawk moth that feeds from flowers like a hummingbird. The only insect that ventured by was this butterfly.</p><div></div>
<p>Howard, the placement of the girls looks like an interesting part of the street art. Something we always enjoy is the fresh vegetables available during summer.</p><div></div>
<p>As usual I didn't peek at the renditions until after I was ready to post. I slimmed the model at noticed the cowboy theme so I dragged out the cowboy rodeo image and stuck the changed image into it.</p><div></div>
<p>As usual I didn't look at OP pix until after adjusting the image. I was taken by the crop choices being so similar. Cropped and adjusted exposure. I really liked the basic picture (thanks Rick) but it reminded me of one of those Saturday Evening Post Rockwell covers so I added a slight spray effect to make it similar.</p><div></div>
<p>This week we went to a relatives house where they forced us to eat grilled chicken, watermelon, corn on the cob and tomatoes with cottage cheese. Here is a pic of the chicken on the grill.</p><div></div>
